Ridiculous hotel, first of all. There is no possible way to book a one single big bed room, you cannot early request nor be guaranteed to get one! But they would say you can upgrade to get a big bed room by paying more which is totally rubbish which only they know the vacancy. I asked clearly if 2 beds together will the put a cover over it so there is no gap in the middle and they say it’s not possible. But then they give me a room which was 2 beds put together. What concept and logic is that? I can’t believe there is a hotel you cannot request or pay for a big bed room while booking. Customers can choose what they want then pay it but not by a scam policy from the hotel to lock all single bed rooms and pay more upon arrival. Male Staff who served me was rude too, only the female staff was helpful

This is a one night booking for a friend but we had actually stayed at this hotel for two months. Plus - as this is an older hotel rooms are much larger than typical hotels in HK, close to MTR (subway) stn and bus stations with buses that will take you to every corner of HK, even the Dingding Tram. Minus - next door to a large funeral home complex, quiet streets particularly after dark, kind of creepy! Not many restaurants or even supermarkets within walking distances, even less after dark! Staffs, a mixture of very pleasent young ladies at the front desk with some senior employees who may be more suited working at the funeral home next door! Particularly the few at the extended stay guest counter! never around when one needs to see them. For those lite sleepers the AC is noisy, can also hear showers from other rooms all the time and many guests just leave their garbage outside their doors instead of walking a few more steps to throw them into the garbage bins at the service room. Overall, short stays ok but we probably will go somewhere else for extended stays.
