Harbour Grand Hong Kong

The room is great for an older hotel! Clean, tidy, and spacious enough! Front desk agent Lulu was friendly and patient during check-in, and the sea view from the room was just as beautiful as described! My work-related overtime during this trip became bearable here. Highly recommended!! (The photos show that the view is exactly the same as when I walked to the beach! No obstructions!)

My recent stay at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong, located in North Point, Fortress Hill, was excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk from the MTR station, offering convenient access to Causeway Bay and Central, yet the immediate area is surprisingly quiet despite being close to everything. The hotel's biggest draw is the stunning Victoria Harbour view, especially from the higher floor rooms, which offer expansive vistas that are captivating both day and night. The room size is generous for a five-star hotel in Hong Kong, and it was meticulously clean with comfortable bedding. Some room types even come with a bathtub. The hotel boasts an outdoor pool and a gym, providing ample leisure options. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the dining services were diverse. The front desk staff were courteous and attentive, and luggage storage was available. The only minor drawback was that some facilities showed a bit of age. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, suitable for both leisure and business travelers, and an ideal choice for those who want to enjoy the Victoria Harbour scenery.

Well, how should I put it? The location is quite close to the subway station, which is a plus if you're traveling with both elderly folks and young children, like me. What I found really odd was when the front desk guy told me the room number was random during check-in. Do hotels really assign rooms by drawing lots? And his tone of voice made me a bit uncomfortable. I didn't book the cheapest room, but you can see the 'sea view' for yourself in my photos. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water or toiletries. I tried calling the front desk from my room phone, but it didn't connect. Later, I used my phone through Trip.com to call. I must have called five times. Finally, the next morning, they called and said I could have a late checkout until 1 PM, and told me to contact the hotel online again. In the end, I sent an email, and they agreed to extend my checkout to 2 PM, which was great because I was planning to take my sister to Disneyland the next day. The guy at the front desk on the first floor who handled luggage storage was actually really nice and friendly. The room itself was quite clean.

The hotel's sea view is beautiful, the location is convenient, and the room is very spacious. For a five-star hotel, the value for money is relatively high. Due to environmental considerations, the hotel does not provide complimentary toothbrushes or bottled water.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times due to its convenient location in Hong Kong, but my experience keeps getting worse. This is mainly due to the increasingly obvious discrimination and differential treatment from the front desk staff towards mainland Chinese tourists. They are cold, dismissive, and even deliberately difficult, yet they act completely differently towards foreign guests, showing a complete lack of professionalism. This time, I specifically booked a deluxe sea-view room and requested a quiet room away from the elevator. However, despite the hotel not being very busy, a middle-aged male receptionist with short, high-combed hair "deliberately" assigned me the worst room type I've ever had there, and it was right next to the elevator. My request for a late checkout until 2 PM was also denied by him, even though it had never been an issue during previous stays. Furthermore, despite the high price, only the lobby is grand; the rooms themselves are old and outdated, not even comparable to a four-star hotel in mainland China. I won't be sentimental next time; I'll try the Hotel Alexandra nearby instead.

Better than expected! You can see the sea, and there are many shops within walking distance, which is very convenient. The only downside is that the balcony door couldn't be opened, so we couldn't go out.

This is my third time staying here, and I don't think it will be my last. Excellent hotel!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Although this hotel has a long history, its location is quite good. It's only a 5-minute walk from Fortress Hill MTR station, and there are many eateries nearby. The front desk staff are very welcoming.

Booked a sea-view room and waking up to the Victoria Harbour view was so relaxing. The gym was good too, and the infinity pool was absolutely amazing.
