Hong Kong Sha Tin District 5-star Hotels

The hotel is conveniently located near two large shopping malls, right next to the MTR and bus stops, making travel super easy. The room was clean, tidy, and elegantly furnished, with great soundproofing and a bay window overlooking Sha Tin Park, offering a wide-open view. Each floor has a drinking water dispenser, so you don't need to buy your own. I stayed for two days and it was incredibly comfortable; I never expected such a great hotel experience in Hong Kong! Plus, no deposit was required, and the staff were all very polite and courteous – absolutely fantastic! The shopping vouchers from Trip.com could also be used at the nearby malls. All I can say is, satisfied, satisfied, satisfied!

The most outstanding feature of this hotel is probably its ventilation system (since the hotel is relatively new, the AC and air circulation likely use two separate ducts). I originally planned to use the hotel's washing machine (laundry is $40 and drying is $40, not cheap). On the first day, I just hand-washed a pair of shorts and socks, and to my surprise, they were completely dry by the next day, hanging on the rack outside the sink! (I'm sensitive to cold, so I kept the AC at 25 degrees at night, and it only blew occasionally, so its exhaust system must be independent). I have to praise it. Shimen MTR station is very close to the hotel, and at Sam Do Restaurant next to the station, the triple-combo rice is only $38 after 7 PM. The vegetables are especially fresh and delicious, and they also have fish and shrimp! The prices are surprisingly good!

The location is great, just 200 meters from University MTR station. Our mountain-view room was on the side facing the railway tracks, but the soundproofing was excellent; we barely heard any noise. The room itself was very spacious and bright, and the hygiene and bedding were good. In a place like Hong Kong where every inch is precious, for the same price, you'd be cramped in a tiny room in Central. I'd much rather take a few MTR stops and stay here. I'll definitely choose Hyatt Centric again next time.

This family hotel is in a great location, just two blocks from Mong Kok Station. There's an elevator. The rooms are small, only 10 square meters, but they have everything you need (private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, a fan, and an adapter). Our room didn't have a window, but thankfully, we didn't feel stuffy. The owner is a beautiful woman and very kind. The staff are also very helpful and eager to help with any questions. We arrived early, and the owner even said there were two rooms available for us to choose from. The door requires a code, which is very secure. The value for money is excellent.

It's what I expected for the price & location. Not the kind of place for the avg. traveller but for those who don't mind roughing it a bit it does the trick. The one issue I had was the short hard bed which gave me a sore back.

Room looks new for me in mongkok area plus the design is cool. Cozy, nice and coolness of aircon is great. Complete personal hygiene kit as well. Thanks

The location surely nearby the Mongkok Metro station exit D. However, the room is quite noisy to either a neighborhood or to the street itself. Even tho the service is quite friendly, thanks to that.

Dear Amy: Coming to Hong Kong from the mainland, everything is strange. In this strange place, you gave the first warm warmth to the hurried travelers. The warm decoration, clean beds and your warm care gave us a sense of belonging like home, allowing us to have a peaceful dream even in the noisy Mong Kok. The lychees you sent are delicious, and they taste different from Hainan. Your heart is also like the heart of the lychee, white and transparent, and full of vitality. The hotel is located in the center of Mongkok, close to buses, subways and train stations. Transportation is easily accessible in all directions. Nearby downstairs are the famous pedestrian streets, shopping malls, restaurants, etc., where shopping and delicious food are top-notch. The room is quite nice. Although it is small, it is well-equipped with everything, such as air conditioner, TV, hairdryer, etc. The landlady is very kind and enthusiastic. She always introduces us to the must-see and must-eat food nearby, and also teaches us how to take transportation to different attractions. We forgot to bring the adapter this time, so the landlady lent us one, which was very considerate. This room is suitable for a single person or a couple to live in. Whether it is the layout of the room, the equipment, or the service attitude of the landlord, it deserves a five-star rating. We will come again next time!

This is probably one of the better ones in Hong Kong given the price, quite value for money. However, the heater took a while to heat the water up and the toilet bowl couldn’t really flush very well, and there was always a weird smell from the toilet. The room is very small, only fit for one person to walk through. The window was opens to the common corridor so we never opened it, so it seemed like not having a window at all. There was also no boiler for water and you will have to take water from the counter. Overall it is a small and compact hostel located in an old building but decent enough and location is excellent, go here if you are on a budget and on a short trip!
