I stayed on the 17 flr of the hotel from 21 - 23 Dec. View from room window was great. Room was spotlessly clean and spacious. Bed was too comfortable and caused us to miss the morning alarm. Frontdesk and room service staff were very helpful. When I feedback that the room was too cold, they offered a heater and it was delivered to my room shortly after. I look forward to staying at the hotel again.

The room is clean and tidy. Staff are nice and helpful, they are patient to introduce their free bike service that helmets were provided (free!) My family enjoyed cycling the whole afternoon. The buffet is nice as well, plently of food options with a 50% discount px for stay-in guest. The only cons is the toilet is not smelling well.

Excellent Hotel! The room was very comfortable and quite spacious. Everything quite clean. The hotel staff was quite friendly. I think it needs a little maintenance, but overall it is very good. The metro/train station is very close. There are many local restaurants in the area where you can eat well. The price-quality ratio is very good. Recommended.

The hotel sits in the industrials area of Kowloon East so it’s not close to the metro or major bus stops. Well, given this room rate, you need to pay an effort to walk for about 7 minutes to the major bus stops. There’s also no restaurant nearby so make sure you get takeaway or eat before you return to the hotel area. The hotel room decor is of modern light industrial style with a nice choice of tones of colours of the wall and furniture. Amenities are rather new. However, there are two things that make the stay experience a little disappointing. There’re areas in the room that harbour dust, especially the bathroom door, the table top above the refrigerator and some parts of the wall. Your clothing items would collect if you accidentally place anything there. What stunned me was that they were strict or I would say stingy about giving bottled water to guests, which I have never experienced in any hotel in Hong Kong. At other hotels I’ve stayed in, I can ask for extra bottled water when I needed or they had filtered water dispensers installed in the corridor. (Foreign travellers must pay attention that not all water pipes that lead to the tap are clean and some could have unwanted metal deposits. At Camlux they provided only two 700+ ml bottles of water and each extra bottle comes at $12.

Overall pretty good. I went to the Tin Tin Bar for cocktails and the live music was really nice. Sha Tin 18 looks attractive too but will need advance booking. It is my third or fourth time staying at Hyatt Sha Tin, very convenient and the room is quite spacious. I like how they have bathtub in every room and the staff are all very helpful. The room is clean with everything you need (except for now you will have to pay for all plastic products such as toothpaste due to government policies) even an adaptor charger. Clean, filtered water - always warm so it is nice. The only downside is that I would hear people slamming the door outside at night and in the morning. 24-hour gym that provides water, towels, and headphones. I will definitely come back for another stay.
