This was the loveliest hotel we stayed in during our couple of weeks in France. It was absolutely charming. Our experience was a 10 out of 10! The staff were friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the newer set of rooms, and they were clean, quiet and comfortable. We ate at both restaurants while there. We preferred the Bistro, its menu and its outstanding food and service. It also had an energetic vibe. Les Impressionists restaurant was more formal and quiet. The service was excellent, but the food wasn't as good. Also, there was a carriage with two horses that would take you into town. Finally, Xavier - the concierge was fabulous. He found a driver/guide for us for a visit to Normandy and helped us with other travel arrangements and recommendations for our stay.

We chose Le Ferme Saint Simeon as we love Relais & Chateau properties!! This hotel has beautiful views, history, food and staff!!! We ate at both restaurants impressed by both!! Proximity to downtown, we were then getting on river cruise in Le Havre about 30 minutes proximity! Merci

Sadly our stay at this wonderful, almost fairytale hotel was cut short by my husband slipping a disc and having to return home after only 48 hours. The personnel at the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding, bringing meals to our room as my husband couldn’t move. It was such a shame as our room (a junior suite) was beautiful with sofa and dining area as well as the bedroom with the best pillows ever and with a view across the estuary and out to sea. I spent time on my own sampling the comfortable lounge, bar and dining rooms which are all very roomy and full of character in this stunning old building. Everything was just perfect and Honfleur itself in very easy walking distance. We hope to return one day and highly recommend this lovely place.

Saint Simeon is not only a beautiful place but the employees make it lovely. My suite was gorgeous ,spacious, and luxurious. Les Impressionists is Magnificent. The food is beautiful and scrumptious. Tea time is an experience only this chateau can deliver. I learned to paint and sketch like the impressionists of old, learned to see from a wonderful French countryside perspective. A great place to experience Honfluer.

It was wonderful to go back to this wonderful spot once again. The service was excellent. Our dinners at the Bistro was superb....excellent waiter, delicious meals, great wine and wonderful atmosphere. The staff was so welcoming and really understand hospitality

An excellent stay at an amazing place. But the price of your breakfast is too high and the quality is not great when compared to the standard of your establishment. By paying the price you can offer the parking lot instead of taxing a charge of 30€ per day. As your SPA has been under maintenance you have not even given a compensation for us..

We loved the hotel and the location. We had a junior suite which was excellent. Breakfast and service were superb. Staff was generally friendly. The only exception was the high end restaurant at the property. We would rate it poor. The fish we had was not to our liking. I ordered what I thought was a piece of steak and a piece of tuna. What we received was a piece of steak with rare tuna stuffed inside. Sometimes we have found that restaurants strive too hard in Europe for a Michelin star. The price was expensive and we found the food lacking. We simply ate elsewhere during our stay.

It’s pretty much impossible to say enough wonderful things about the Ferme and its people. The room was superbly comfortable with every possible amenity and an attendant who polished it every time we left. The grounds are magnificent with sage and lavender, hydrangeas , roses and laden apple trees in perfect order. The food - especially the outstanding breakfast display - was fabulous and inventive, complete with fromage blanc and a gigantic honeycomb. Truly, however, it was the people attending us day and night who made our stay so memorable. They were incomparable. Nothing seemed too much; they were warm and charming and often very funny. This was our third stay here and I can’t imagine anywhere else in the world being so perfect. Merci from the Shafers
