Tongxiang Homestays

We’re doing a road trip from Hangzhou to Wuzhen then to Shanghai for recently and I must admitted staying at Wuzhen Homestay was our best decision. We only for a night but from checking in to checking out Homestay Staff was extremely helpful and friendliness that I have ever encountered. There’s a language barrier yet it didn’t stopped us from communicating. We booked a family which resided at the very end of Wuzhen Xizha (79A) but believe me it’s worth the walk. One could take a shuttle but we opted to stroll the main Xizha Street. Pending on your taste of food, breakfast from Xizha Homestay was one of the best we had. Very flavor full and size was more than I would imagine. Luggages were transferred from and to front desk for us. While we were checking out, the staff was helping to carry our heavy luggage down the staircase. We offered a gratitude but the staff declined. After several attempts, the staff finally accepted. Overall, I highly recommend Wuzhen Homestay for those whose want to stay in Wuzhen Xizha. We definitely will comeback and stay here again!

We had a great stay here! Loved the tatami-style room — simple, clean, and very cozy. Breakfast was amazing. The hostess was really friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. Near to Wuzhen West Scenic entrance.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the shower and toilet were not designed properly. It was incomprehensible that you had to get out naked and put on clothes after taking a shower. Especially, although the room was antique, there were many Doraemon lamps and small fans, which proved that it was a parent-child room. It was incredible to make the shower room like this. It would be very bad if you came with friends or with colleagues who were not very familiar with each other. It was very embarrassing. The linens were relatively complete, there was no refrigerator in the room, and there were two bottles of water. It was not very convenient to buy things in the scenic area, so it was recommended that you bring more water and snacks when you check in. Breakfast was from 7 to 9 o'clock, so I didn't have it at all. It was really impossible to get up so early on holidays. This time was only suitable for older people who were light sleepers. The scenery was beautiful and close to the service center. There were not many people in the scenic area and it was very quiet. It was pretty good.

Booked Puyi based on reviews on trip.com. Initially , I hesitated to book as I thought it's impossible to get so many good reviews. I'm glad I booked this place as not just the room is great with cute little touch here and there. Every review I read mentioned the great hospitality and friendliness provided by staff at Puyi, and I found it to be correct. I am thankful for the advice and suggestions provided when I checked in. Staff at Puyi constantly check on guests to ensure we are well looked after. Well done, guys. I'll definitely come back and stay again and will recommend this place to family and friends going to visit Wuzhen. Thank you to all the staff at Puyi.

It was a bit tricky because the hotel is inside the scenic area, so a ticket (110 yuans) is needed ( even though it is mentioned when the hotel is booked, I missed that information) and the scenic area can be seen in an hour so if you want to go out and play somewhere else and then come back, you will be asked to buy a new ticket. On the other hand the hotel staff helped us, during the day we stayed in a hotel nearby ( just a room ) we left our bags there and went to play to other scenic areas (they all need ticket) and after 9:30pm we went to our original hotel no need for ticket after those hours. So it was a bit weird but kudos for the staff for being so helpful, the morning view from the hotel was nice and the environment feels good.

The hotel is located between the Xizha Scenic Area and the Dongzha Scenic Area of ​​Wuzhen. It is convenient to go there and it takes about 15 minutes to walk. The front desk service is thoughtful and enthusiastic, and will guide you to the free parking lot. The room is large and has a sofa and a floor-to-ceiling mirror. Central air conditioning. Towels are disposable and very hygienic. There are plastic slippers in the bathroom.

The hotel is closed to the entrance of Wuzhen Xizha scenic area but not inside. So if you want to stay inside Wuzhen Xizha Scenic area, this hotel is not the option. The ‘river view’ is not the best describe it’s more like a ditch to me.

A homestay with a sense of design, newly renovated, big room, and very close to the Xizha scenic spot. You can walk to the entrance of the visitor center in about ten minutes. It is more convenient when you come back. The nearby exit is less than 100 meters away. Back to the homestay. When we checked in, the butler gave us a lot of suggestions and strategies for visiting. The restaurant recommended was also very good. All in all, I am very satisfied. It is very cost-effective to travel in the off-season. I will definitely come again next time

The location is about 800 to 900 meters from the entrance of Xizha Scenic Area in Wuzhen. The surrounding restaurants and supermarkets are very convenient. At first glance, the environment looks like it was specially designed by the designer. It has a light industrial style. I like it very much. I took photos and produced photos. The service was warm and thoughtful. They told us how to avoid pitfalls and gave us travel guides based on our itinerary. It was very good. The room is very clean, the supplies are very comfortable, and the facilities and equipment are very good. Looking forward to coming again next time
