"Great experience at this hotel. The staff were extremely accommodating as I had accidentally booked our room for a day later than when I had arrived. However, the staff let us check in a day in advance and it was no problem at all.
The room was nice, had a large projector and a nice view. They also gave us a free ride to Wangxian Vallet scenic area and picked us up in the evening.
Overall the staff went above and beyond for us and I definitely recommend this hotel to others!"

"It is really worth recommending. Parking is convenient and it is not far from the scenic spot. The boss has time to pick up and drop off. Thank you very much. The service is warm and thoughtful. "It's very clean. The bedding is new. I read the previous review that the owner couldn't take pictures. When I arrived, it turned out to be the same. It's actually better than the owner's picture. The store is also easy to park on the roadside. It's economical, affordable, clean and hygienic. I ordered the cheapest big one. The size of the bed room is also quite large. Unlike some hotels with falsely marked areas, they rarely write reviews. From Qingdao to Jingdezhen, there are only three worth writing reviews, and I won’t write the bad ones."

New Zealanders with our 6 year old had a lovely stay here in this home stay for 2 nights. Nice couple that have converted their 4 storey house into a homestay 2 years ago to cope with the increase of tourists visiting WangXian Valley. We were fortunate enough to time it that their daughter who spoke some English was back visiting. They kindly dropped us to the valley and also picked us up which is about a 10 minute commute each way.
The valley was amazing and this was a good location to base ourselves we found as far more affordable that the options within the valley. The commute is easy and the area has plenty of local eateries to enjoy the evening before visiting the valley. We will be back here one day forsure. Don’t hesitate in booking this nice family friendly homestay hotel. The mother and daughter also kindly delivered us to SHANGRAO train station at a lower fee than the DiDi option as they were heading into the city anyway for some shopping so that worked out nicely. They’ve assured us they plan to get a coffee machine in the future for foreigners to have this option within the lobby so that will be a nice add on for the next visit.

The B&B is clean and tidy, the proprietress and her daughter are warm and friendly, the room is large, and they enthusiastically found a car to take us to Wangxian Valley for a visit. When we checked out, they also found a car to take us to the station. It is a B&B that I recommend staying in!

AAnonymous UserI want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle.
My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating.
The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncle’s QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems.
We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints.
The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket.
Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view.
We had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbour’s, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat.
Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together.
The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant again and shared some more moments with them.
The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them.
The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.

GGuest UserWhile riding the cable car, I heard tourists next to me exclaiming, ”What beautiful Hui-style architecture!” Looking up, you can see the undulating white walls and green tiles, with a simple and elegant background. As the cable car goes up, there is a rapeseed terrace field under your feet. It’s a pity that without the filter of sunlight and the color of the season, there are fewer bright colors. However, no matter when you come here, you can see colorful crops drying on the roofs. The color of the crops drying in the autumn is probably their unique skin color.
Some people say that entering Huangling is like entering a game world. In the square at the entrance of the village, tourists used existing props to hold a general meeting of all members of the Huangling Brigade in an orderly manner. ”Dear villagers, we are gathered together today...” ”Little comrade, please be serious. Take your ice cream and sit down!” There was laughter everywhere. Along the stone road, you can meet the inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage of making straw raincoats. Seeing the straw raincoat, one can't help but think of the line ”A green bamboo hat, a green straw raincoat, no need to go home in the slanting wind and drizzle.” The straw raincoat, an ancient garment for wearing in the rain, is not as pretty and light as an oil-paper umbrella, but it carries the rich history of agricultural civilization. It contrasts with the surrounding mountains and terraces, forming a peaceful and beautiful pastoral picture. Along the way, there are free and casual tie-dye works, golden and crispy Huangling oil cakes, soft, glutinous and sweet handmade glutinous rice cakes, and NPC grandparents who feed you enthusiastically.
I like the human touch here. From Jingdezhen to Huangling, I met very nice people along the way. The driver who came like a timely rain when we were catching the high-speed train; the passers-by who enthusiastically guided us to pick up our stored luggage at the exit; the passenger who picked up our ID cards and the lovely steward. Let me end with a quote from the B&B sister: “You are very good people, so the people you meet are also very good.” Kind people make Jingdezhen and Huangling warmer, and allow everyone who comes here to find their own warmth and touch.

Iian_smashWe travelled in a group of 6 people and had booked 4 rooms. All rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, and had hot shower. The hosts were very welcoming, hospitable and will go out of their way to make our stay pleaant and comfortable. The husband helped carry our bags to the rooms (first and second floor). He drove us to and from the entrance of the valley. He even drove me to the post office as it was located in a back street and spoke to the staff there to make sure my item is sent to the correct address. While waiting downstairs, we were offered tea, coffee and snacks. On the first night she took us to a restaurant and helped us with our order. She even double checked the bill such that we are not over charged. She helped us with drying our clothes. She also helped me by calling the hotel of my next destination so that transfer could be arranged. Lastly she also arranged the transfer for us back to Shangrao station because cab drivers from the station seem to be careless, overtaking on corners and texting and talking non stop on their mobile whilst driving: I do not recommend using cabs from Shangrao station!!!! We were very grateful to have met oneone who helped made our stay very pleasant, comfortsble, and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place and i shall stay there again should I come visit Wangxian valley again.

From the moment we got off the bus, the boss gave us a warm welcome, helped us with our luggage, planned our itinerary, and even prepared snacks. The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the response to problems is very fast. Thumbs up for the boss's service. The room is clean and fresh, and the location is close to the entrance of the scenic area, which is very nice. The price/performance ratio is quite high. There is not much traffic in the scenic area now, and I am having a great time~

TThipapatThe owner is very nice. We communicated via Wechat and the translation in the app helps the communication went through perfectly. The location is very nice as it's only 5 minutes drive to Wangxiangu and the owner was ready to drop us off and take us back just by texting him. We stay on the second floor. The amenities there are all we need. I like that there is a heater in the bathroom so that we don't get too cold while showering. The owner's mom took care of our breakfast. She cooked yummy dishes for us including hot vegan noodle soup which helps warming our body in a cold morning.
However, the bathroom's sink is clogged with something that looks like leftover or vomit...so we tried not to use the sink.
The worst thing of our stay is the transportation between Shangrao Station to the hostel. The owner offered us a pick-up and drop-off services which we will get a lower rate from the regular taxi service, so we accepted it. He didn't mention that it's going to be a shared ride until we found out ourselves that we needed to take a ride with 4 more people in the van, however, we're ok with that because of an affordable rate. Then we found it the worst riding experience in our life. As Shangrao is a small city with 2 lanes all along, the driver had always been trying to get ahead of the cars in the front and hitting his horn throughout 1 hour to the hostel which almost caused the accident. I was praying all the way. Nevertheless, on our trip back to Shangrao Station, the same driver took us there with his same style of driving and eventually an accident occurred! Our car was hit by another and we almost missed our train to another city. We almost had no doubt why we get hit Lol. The good thing is the driver called another car(with full of passengers) to pick up up to the station. We like the hostel but sadly we don't think we will ever go back to this city again...such a lift-time experience we got.

Breakfast was delicious and the location was close to the Wangxian Valley, and they offer a drop off and pick up service too which is great. Definitely would recommend. The views of the river and bridge are beautiful too

LLee SuanThe homestay is about 10 min drive to the Wang Xian Valley Tourist Center. It is very near. We can walk around the small village area, full of homestay and restaurants around. The homestay owner told me there is a mountain peak about 30 min drive from her homestay that is as beautiful as the Sanqingshan. One can book a taxi (180 yuan) to drive up there, wait for us to hike up to the peak, about 20 min, to see the sunset or sunrise. The homestay is clean, well equipped & designed. There is a modest balcony outside my room that looks out to the back side and a small farming area of the village. The view is not spectacular but one can have a relaxing time for tea or coffee sitting in the balcony. The owners are a couple and they are very helpful, nice, friendly and warm. If there is anything U need in the room, U can request. They provided free transportation sending to and returning from the Wang Xian Valley. The owners have a taxi WeChat group that can send requests to the taxi drivers to arrange for transportation to any location. Car pool's fare per person one trip from or to Shangrao train station is 30 yuan. I booked a whole taxi to Lingshan, Yiyang, Jiangxi, about 1 hour away, and it cost about 120 yuan. One can also take buses. It takes longer and needs bus transfers but it is much cheaper, around 3 - 15 yuan depending on the distance. Anyway, my homestay owners provided very good and warm services. I think that is important when we go traveling as it makes our journey much easier, smooth and pleasant.

YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.
