The rooms in other B&Bs in the ancient city are very small. The owner and the proprietress are very nice and welcoming. There is a platform for taking photos and checking in on the roof of the B&B. You can see the whole ancient city. The scenery is very good! Very good treasure B&B"

"Come for the view, stay for the superior customer service! Nazhu Sky Courtyard Designer Snow Mountain View Homestay was nothing short of exceptional! The staff and owner are so kind and do everything to make sure all of your needs are met! This is the icing on the cake because the view of Yulong Snow Mountain is incredible! Relax, sunbathe and enjoy some coffee or tea on the terrace! Indulge in immersive experiences in and around the Homestay! There’s so much to do! Take a quick walk to Black Dragon Pool (Heilongtan Park) and learn about the culture within the city! Enjoy a cup or two of ******* Butter Tea and take time to talk to the staff…they are genuine and lovely people! I highly recommend this Homestay experience! Just know, there is no elevator BUT it’s totally worth it!!
One more thing! The bed is incredible! I felt like I was sleeping in my own bed at home!

"I've just checked out from this absolute gem of a guesthouse, and I couldn't wait to share my experience! Choosing this guesthouse was easily the best surprise of my Lijiang trip; it completely exceeded all my expectations, truly a perfect stay!
The host is incredibly kind and friendly. He loves organizing communal dinners for guests in the courtyard and even helped me plan my itinerary, offering really dependable suggestions for places to visit. Seriously, book this place with confidence! There were also many international guests, and the whole courtyard had such a 'home away from home' vibe – so comfortable and relaxed. I'll definitely be back!
My only 'complaint' – and it's a good one – is that it's so incredibly comfortable, you might find yourself wanting to do nothing but relax in the courtyard with a cup of tea and enjoy the sun, completely forgetting about sightseeing! 😄"

"I absolutely loved the guesthouse's overall decor and ambiance, especially their charming little garden. It was incredibly relaxing to just sit there and sip tea. As for cleanliness, the 'Ayi' (cleaning lady) tidied up every day. The rooms even came with a humidifier and an air purifier – such thoughtful touches! Big thumbs up 👍🏻. Xiao Lu and Long Ge were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They not only assisted us in planning our itinerary but also recommended amazing local eateries. They even enthusiastically invited us to a bar to hang out – so much fun! 😂
And last but certainly not least, out of all my past accommodation experiences, their breakfast was hands down the best I've ever had! Seriously, my main motivation to wake up early every morning was to enjoy the delicious rice noodles prepared by the 'Ayi'! I stayed for several days and happily ate it every single morning, haha. Oh, and their pickled radishes are also incredibly tasty! The breakfast is clearly made with so much care and offers a great variety. If you're visiting, you absolutely *must* try their breakfast."

"There is no complaint with respect to the quality of the rooms are even with the location of the premises. Only nitpicking is with the service. They had a nonchalant attitude. Service attitude should definitely improve. We had difficulty reaching them on multiple occasions. The reception was not manned many times. Other than that, The Rooms were nicely decorated. The rooms were spacious. Amenities were good and modern, considering it's located in an ancient town. The location was good, in the sense that it's approximately 400 meters from the road where you can access taxis/Didi/buses. The location was convenient. Beds are comfortable, and the exterior is also neat. They didn't help much with sightseeing plans or in booking tickets to attractions, again itsa a service shortage."

"One of our favourite stays in Yunnan. Stylishly decorated hotel, combines ancient Nazi charm with modern comfort. Strategically located near the entrance of the old town of Lijiang, walking distance to main road and to shops, restaurants and attractions in the old town, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle.
The room is spacious, clean
and quiet, with cozy ambience and modern amenities. Sound proof was good and the bed was comfortable that we slept soundly everyday.
Exceptional service from hotel staff members. Big kudos to our butler - Da Shan 大山, who was very helpful and responsive. He gave us lots of tips and advice how to go around the old town, attractions to visit, what to avoid and help us arrange for transport, which is incredibly helpful for first-time visit.
We went for a pu-er tea making activity at a century-old tea house, complimented by the hotel. A hands on experience to learn and make a teacake, and thereafter we can bring it back at no cost. We also have a wonderful tea tasting session and learn a lot of pu-er history and stories.
Hotel provides lovely breakfast, daily afternoon tea, freshly brewed coffee/tea and evening desserts. Complimentary pick-up and drop-off service right at the doorstep of the hotel and train station is very thoughtful and convenient.
We will definitely stay here again when we visit Lijiang."

GGuest UserEverything about this place, from location to hospitality, is amazing! The homestay arranged to pick us up at an intersection and carried our luggages all the way.
The sound proofing of the rooms are not that good though, so a word of caution for light sleepers.
During our stay, 小李 took really good care of us, never failed to ask what we intended to do on each day, provided help and suggestionsto us on what to do. We started and ended each day chatting with him. 😊
On our check out day, we had to leave at 6.30am to Shangri-La and 小李 woke up to help us with our luggages and waited with us till our driver came! We could not thank him enough and appreciate him going all the way to help us.
We had a wonderful 5-day stay and Lijiang made an impression on us. We definitely recommend anyone to stay there..

GGuest UserHonestly, 'The Street Where the Wind Dwells' B&B is the most comfortable and genuinely hospitable place I've ever stayed in Lijiang! The location is absolutely fantastic! It's nestled in a quiet alley right by the Old Town, just a few minutes' walk to all the lively spots, yet incredibly peaceful at night – you won't hear a peep. The rooms genuinely feel upscale! We booked the 'Stargazer Room', and through its huge glass window, you get panoramic views of the Old Town rooftops. At night, you can even see the stars – enjoying the night view while soaking in the tub was pure bliss. But the absolute highlight was the owner, Brother Ma – he's incredibly warm and genuine! The moment we arrived at the alley entrance, he jogged out from afar to help us with our luggage. As soon as we stepped inside, he offered us tea – not just out of politeness, but he genuinely chatted with us, sharing tips on authentic local restaurants and small pubs with a great vibe. Even when we came back late at night, we'd often find him in the courtyard, chatting and having tea with other guests. It truly felt like coming home to family. On our departure day, he even gave us some of his homemade cherry wine, saying, ”Come back next time for another drink, and remember the wind of Lijiang!” His words truly warmed my heart. This B&B offers a much more authentic and enjoyable experience than a typical hotel. If I ever return to Lijiang, I'll definitely be staying at 'The Street Where the Wind Dwells' again!

PpixiebelleThis is our family's first experience staying in a 民宿/Inn. This establishment is located INside Lijiang Ancient Town 丽江古城 (UNESCO world heritage site) and on a cobbled slope.

-The people running the place are very friendly and helpful. They helped us with every request including pre-booking car rides/transfers/day trip etc. We used data-esim so we do not have a local mobile#. We contacted inn before arriving via wechat and was able to arrange complimentary train pickup service. The staff helped carry our luggage to/from the transport points up/down cobbled slope to the Inn's lobby. The staff were all very helpful and patient with us (first time travellers to China). Thank you!
-Family room is clean and spacious, equipped with 智能管家 AI voice-operated facilities and DYSON hair-dryer. Room has big glass windows which let in natural life and view of Old Town.
-Breakfast is local porridge, picked vegetables, eggs, rice noodles 米线

There are restaurants and convenience store within steps from the INN. To get to the Old Town's center where they are more food options is a down cobbled stone path 10-15mins walk. After that, it is the same way up slope to get back. Alternatively, it is to take a 5mins walk up cobbled path to the car drop-off point (Lion Head Lookout point), then walk via stairs/path down or call a DiDi. We tried both ways. Twice, the DiDi we were in were not allowed up the drive way by the security guarding the road up the Lion Head. Only registered cars are allowed in so we had to get off and walk.
The location is both a pro and a con especially if you have elderly or very young travelling companions.

GGuest UserThe two young owners are truly charming. They proactively reached out to us before our check-in to understand our needs. Unfortunately, a heavy downpour greeted us upon arrival in Lijiang, and being unfamiliar with the area, we had trouble locating the agreed-upon pick-up point. Despite the rain, one of the hosts patiently waited for us. Another host then met us at the Old Town entrance, helping with our luggage using a cart, and escorted us to the guesthouse. Inside our room, we were pleasantly surprised to find that all our previous requests had been thoughtfully prepared, and our child immediately jumped onto the bed, excitedly bouncing around! The room itself was well-equipped and very clean. We also received excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining spots. The guesthouse's courtyard is conveniently located, making it easily accessible by both taxi and public transportation. I highly recommend this as a fantastic accommodation choice for any Lijiang trip!

The accommodation is in an excellent location. It is also home to one of the most beautiful-view cafés in Lijiang. The surrounding area is filled with restaurants and shopping spots, providing great convenience. Despite its central location, the rooms are quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay.
They respond to messages very quickly, and you can communicate any requests during your stay in Lijiang. They provide free pick-up and drop-off service at the high-speed railway station. Additionally, they assist with handling all your luggage from check-in to check-out, which is especially helpful since Lijiang’s stone-paved streets make rolling suitcases inconvenient. They also arrange airport transfers and a one-day tour to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, including a show, at a reasonable price. The vehicles used for transportation are of high quality.
Especially Xiao Su and Xiao Yang, who provided us with professional service and excellent arrangements, making our vacation in Lijiang absolutely perfect. We received service beyond our expectations in every aspect. The internet connection was highly efficient, allowing my husband to work seamlessly while staying here.
On the day we checked out, we had the opportunity to take a photo with Xiao Su. She and her team warmly saw us off to our car, making our departure just as memorable as our stay.

1. They offer pick us from train station for free
About 30 minutes we arriving at higher ground with busy car surrounding, then suddenly there are few people took our luggage and ask us to follow them, later we know i think that’s the laoban and the hotel’s stuff who brought our heavy luggage🙏
2. The hotel itself located in old town, yet still easy to reach by didi/ taxi. We arriving at beautiful wooden house, and they offers us welcoming tea. So quite inside the house, with many stairs. They brought our luggage into our room ( so need to worry to drags your luggage all the way to old town, without knowing exactly where the place is, just sit and relax😎).
3. We love our rooftop room😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
My daughter also love to play robox outside😑. “Playing with the view,” She said.

5. The stuff are super friendly. Even though we cant speak mandarin, they put us into we chat group so if we need anything we can ask them🙏many thanks for that, we even chat them to arrange private driver for us the at 11 pm, and they still can manage it with reasonable price. We ask them for a lot of thinga😅 we even ask for where to eat, where to buy coffee. We follow all their suggestion. We ate the rice noodle twice😍. We bought the coffee and raw honey in the shop that stuff recommend to us.
We really like Lijiang and this old town, very interesting old town. I saw some reels saying dont visit old town during the day time, visit during the night time. Since i am a morning person, i didnt understand at the beginning, but then just walk 5 minutes downhill from the hotel and you can see many clubs in the old town😜😜😜. At morning time, we can see the Yulong mountain from our roof top if not cover by clouds, veryyyyy quiteeee not many shops open, like the ghost town, but during the night time, the ghost goes to party. Thank you for your hospitality during our stay.

Llittle-cloudWe stayed at Stone Hotel 石头厝 for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! I am so glad we discovered it after searching on Trip.com for quite a while. We were looking for a hotel in Lijiang that is quiet and peaceful, with views of Yulong Snow Mountain, and has the modern comforts of a luxurious boutique hotel.
The hotel is located outside of Lijiang town, approximately 30-40min drive, and right next to Yuhu Village. If we needed to go anywhere, the hotel provides a car drop-off service in a luxurious MPV. It’s also easy to call a car on DiDi.
The room is beautifully designed with elements of copper and wood, blending modern and traditional. The bed and pillows are among the most comfortable I’ve slept in during my travels. Being a city girl, I’m delighted with the Dyson hairdryer, Marshall speaker, and Aesop hand soap! The free mini fridge is stocked with beer, Perrier sparkling water, soft drinks, and if not enough, just pop over to the restaurant where the fridge and fruit bar is open and free all day! The amazing variety of fruits are the sweetest I’ve tasted, all grown locally. Even the nuts are sweet, I think they roast them in some sweet milk. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes but we had hotpot every dinner just because the soup is so delicious and the meats so tender. At dinner, the Naxi brothers will drink a toast and sing for every guest as their way of welcoming the guests and treating them as friends. If you dare to, try their local herbal/fruit alcohol (very strong!) We also love that for breakfast, they serve a selection of local side dishes which we enjoyed trying.
Their concierge/front desk team welcomed us warmly even before arriving (via WeChat), and supported us very well throughout our stay. The whole experience of coordinating airport pickup and booking their various activities and amenities (afternoon tea, evening drink, dinner, car) was seamless and fast. Before going out, the front desk staff always makes sure that we are well equipped for the day with water, umbrella, oxygen, chocolates. All the staff are always happy and friendly, making us feel like we are friends because the service is so personalized. We chatted with many of them and had the chance to learn a little about each of them, their lives and their culture. They know that we love playing with their dogs and the little lamb DuoDuo, and gave us many chances to play with them and even feed little DuoDuo. One can feel that they love their work there.
After leaving, we are still missing little DuoDuo, the amazing staff and warm hospitality, and the comfortable room. I’ve traveled to many places, and this is one of the rare times where I miss the place and the people so much. We highly recommend Stone Hotel 石头厝 to anyone visiting Lijiang! And I hope we have to chance to come back and stay with them again.

CChitrlada HarnWhen my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.

GGuest UserThe most surprising thing about this trip to Lijiang is staying at Yipinji B&B! From the moment I stepped into the yard, I was deeply attracted by the strong Naxi style and warm atmosphere here. The decoration of the B&B not only retains the beauty of traditional Naxi architecture, but also incorporates the comfort of modern design. The owner's care can be felt in every detail.
The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and you can see the green tile roofs of the ancient city and the outline of the snow-capped mountains in the distance from the window. The feeling of being gently awakened by the sun in the morning is really healing! The boss and the staff are super enthusiastic. Not only do they help plan the tour route, but they also recommend a lot of local delicacies, so there is no need to worry about stepping on thunder.
What touched me most is that Yipinji is not over-commercialized, but really makes people feel the warmth of ”home”. Sitting in the yard drinking tea at night, listening to the sound of running water, and looking at the starry sky, it seems that time has slowed down. If I come to Lijiang again, I will definitely choose here again!
