I booked two rooms for my daughter's birthday. The first disappointment was the massage at the spa. We arrived 10 minutes late because there was no one in the luggage room. We had to wait about 20 minutes until someone arrived. The masseuse told me my massage would only last 20 minutes because of the delay (I had paid for a 50-minute massage), but she only gave me 15 minutes. When we returned to our rooms, there was no one at reception to give us our hand luggage either. We called our room to ask them to bring our backpacks. We waited 30 minutes and no one came. We went back down to reception and, after another 15-minute wait (again with no one there), they finally brought our backpacks. We went to our room to shower, as we had a dinner reservation at an Italian restaurant. The shower drain was clogged, and it was disgusting to shower with the water running. (They have old bathtubs) Towels were beige (Once were white). We have a nice dinner at the Italian restaurant, then we were at ****** for some time and went to our rooms to sleep, it was midnight. We were falling asleep when we heard a woman screaming louder and louder. We didn’t know what was going on… we waited and then the woman started to scream and said all kind of ****** words. We have a second show in the morning. So be ready to hear all kinds of things…

Nice-with some room to improve. Overall we had a nice visit. Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. Food options were outstanding. Poolside food and service was exceptionally good. Music was a bit loud in the steakhouse. Despite receiving an email that we could checkin online, and spent considerable time creating and account to do so, we were told that option wasn't available since we booked via 3rd party. Desk clerk could not override this issue. Although our checkin information indicated our room would not be serviced during our two day stay, the attendant entered our room without notice at 4:30 in the afternoon, startling us considerably since we were trying to sleep after several hours by the pool and a long night out planned. Two pools are available, both very nice and impeccably clean. We chose the smaller pool, with a slide since it was closest. The pool was very cool and refreshing, quite a surprise for Miami in Aug. As noted the poolside service was amazingly good. I should warn you that the music at the pool was much too loud. The towel staff commented independently that the tech guys has it set way too loud. Thankfully the multiple waterfalls drowned out some of the volume. Overall a very nice stay, and we will return.

Rooms very clean .. The staff thru out the whole hotel is very accommodating & always smiling .. especially at the guitar pool , they work hard in that hot sun !!
