The bed was terrible and the floor was dirty. Hilton should be better than that ! The help could of been more accommodating.

Just went on a 10 day in vacation where we stayed at 5 different Hampton or Tru Hilton hotels throughout the west side of the Michigan. This hotel was brand new (3 months) and very nice for the price. We had a family with 4 adults and 2 small children and enjoyed our time here. Location is convenient, just need to be aware you can cut through the Home 2 Suites by Hilton parking lot from the frontage road so you can save a little hassle of several stoplights. This is not on the map applications yet. The room A/C unit kept the room cool but the hallways were warm, not sure if this was still from working out issues with new equipment or something else. Typical Tru format with pool table in lobby for use and places to play board games. The little cubbie holes in the corner of the lobby were also a convenient and quiet place for my son to check emails and do a little work. Not sure why somebody gave this a 1 rating our experience was very nice. It is better if you are a Hilton Honors member as you check in remotely on your phone and get a digital key on your phone so missing somebody at the desk was not an issue. We did wait to get one of our two rooms as one was not ready at our check in time but that was just a minor inconvenience.

Let me start by saying, there was no one sitting at the front desk to check me into my room. After ten minute , she finally appeared and I got my room. Cons The beds are not queen size beds, full at best. Bathroom was dirty. Tissue paper only holder had one tissue in it. There is only one night stand so my side did t have one, I ended up putting everything on the floor. Breakfast was terrible, eggs were inedible. . The pros, The pool table in the lobby was fun and we enjoyed playing a round. Weight room has a lot of different options, including free weights. It was quiet. I think I will skip this hotel in the future there are other options

We chose this hotel because our usual Spinghill Suites was crazy expensive for the weekend we wanted to stay. This hotel is a bit bare-bones (no closet, smaller room) but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I was a bit peeved because their "claim to fame" is online check in with a digital key, but of course, even though I did everything online, they still required me to check in at the front desk. What's the point of advertising digital check in and still making customers check in as usual?!

Getting into the parking lot was a little tricky but parking was plentiful and available on both sides of the hotel. Desk clerk, Nelda, greeted us with a friendly smile helping with check in and recommendations of local restaurants. The room was comfortable, affording me a wonderful nights sleep. While in room coffee was not available, both coffee and tea options were always available in the lobby.
