Casa Hridaya Hotel Boutique

Nice small hotel with excellent staff, especially Julio was a pleasure to meet. At first we were a little disappointed when we arrived, but the place grew on us 😊 It is very beautiful and well kept! Hot water works! WiFi works! Pool works! It’s super quiet and a good walk from town but close to other hotel restaurants. The breakfast is simple and nice and all you need to start the day! It’s not on the beach but 2 minutes away - unfortunately the beach was covered in seaweed at this time, so we (on recommendation from Julio) went to a beach club at another hotel. On top of the main house is a Shala that we used for afternoon workouts. And there are raccoons that comes to the balcony 🙈 Only bad thing is the beds, that are memory foam and that makes them SUPER soft - not at good thing for a 200lb man… Luckily O could take a nap on the pool chairs…

We just stayed in Casa Hridaya for a week. It’s lovely boutique hotel in one of the best location just one minute from the beach. We had cosy room on second floor with balcony. Property is very well looked after with nice staff. Breakfast was included. ( Tea/coffee, fresh juice,yogurt with granola,toasts and egg of your choice) it was more than enough for us. Properly has swimming pool with sun beds outside for guests. We had a great stay in overall. 🤗

We visited this beautiful boutique hotel in August 2022 as the final leg of our Honeymoon. I cannot put into words how welcoming and absolutely fantastic the staff were - it was by far the absolute best part of our honeymoon. I saw a previous review on here that said the breakfast wasn't good, WiFi was poor and staff were horrible - this must be a troll as our experience was the polar opposite. Attentive staff asked repeatedly if we wanted more food at breakfast! Yes the WiFi is terrible...but you're on a remote island in a boutique hotel that has mindfulness and wellbeing at its core...ditch the devices and embrace the beauty this hotel and holbox have to offer! The hotel is so close to the beach it's mad! Yes you are a 20 min walk into town, but you walk along the sandbank (a parting in the sea - never seen anything like it!) into town and it's an experience like no other, the views are just STUNNING. The staff are so informative, the owners are so involved in the running of the hotel it has a real family vibe. Natalia in reception recommended many restaurants (varying price points) and provided a mobile number for us to use when on the island. We whatsapped messages about local history and transport and it was always an informative speedy reply. We were greeted with special decor in our hotel room for our honeymoon. The rooms were beautifully hand decorated and cleaned to perfection every day. We visited during rainy season and the storms were so beautiful! Stunning views and I would highly recommend this time of year. We wished we had stayed longer and can't wait to come back on our 10 year wedding anniversary 🥰 Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay xxxx

We stayed at Casa hridaya for two weeks. Our expectations were not high after reading previous reviews but we were more than pleasantly surprised. Gustavo and Lale his yoga instructor and artistic wife are the perfect hosts, ably assisted by their staff Julio and Natalia. Rooms are spacious and all are individually hand decorated. They are spotlessly cleaned daily. There are plenty of fabulous restaurants only minutes away. Yes the centre is 30 mins walk but to us that was a Godsend. The centre is a lively bustling place. It was lovely to get back to the tranquility of Casa Hridaya. We hired their cycles for our stay. They were brand new and easy to ride. I have no hesitation in recommending this quiet tranquil haven. Breakfast, although same daily, was lovingly prepared and plentiful - fruit, yogurt, eggs and toast. They have the most beautiful yoga shala where LaLe offers daily classes. What more can you ask
