Sứ Retreat Hoi An
4.6/55 Reviews
We booked the Tịnh - 2 bedrooom villa at Sứ for our parents and us for a short stay. The space is quite new and pefect for a mellow getaway. Quý, Thảo, Andrew, Aimee and assisting staff are incredible and super attentive. Sứ Retreat is intended to make you feel like home. The number of rooms and guests are limited so that the staff can tend to your needs at their best capacity. For us, they achieved that: privacy, proximity to the old town and services. Space: Kudos to the owner’s taste and how they set up the space. Not too much, not too little. Each of the furniture piece was well suited and selected. We could sense the personality and intention for the space. Services: lovely pool and room service. Staff members were a good mix. Aimee is bubbly, humourous and make you feel like an old friend from home. Quý is calm and personable. You can trust Thảo with where to go, when you need to book a restaurant, when to bargain (and how much). Andrew would tend to your drinks needs and tell you stories about the area over the mini bar. The retreat also offers shopping at the local market and make you lunch/dinner at a reasonable price. The produce picked bu the staff were fresh and of good quality. The cooking, *chefs kiss*. Transport was well taken care of by the staff upon request. Overall: if youre looking for somewhere to wind down, away just enough from the crowd with relaxing options for food, drinks and attentiveness, catered services, this is the place.
Muong Thanh Holiday Hoi An Hotel

There are few guests during the Spring Festival, but the service is still very good. The scenery near the hotel is very beautiful. There is a free shuttle bus to the old town of Hoi An, which is very suitable for vacation.
Palm View Villa

I’ve spent the last 2 months travelling across Asia and I wish I’d made it to Hoi An sooner. I’ve stayed in a lot of nice places but Palm View Villa Hoi An was better than all of them. Other than being ridiculously beautiful the staff were some of the nicest people I met in Vietnam. I can’t describe how perfect our stay was. Waking up in a comfortable bed every morning and going swimming in a private pool equal in size to the rest of the villa. The we’d go down to the communal area for free breakfast every morning which included amazing coffee and the freshest pineapple I’ve ever eaten. Then we’d sit on the chairs by the pond and read. It’s so quiet and peaceful with lots of butterflies and the occasional little gecko. The minibar prices are cheaper than you’d find in a local bar and everyday without asking a fresh pot of delicious tea was brought to our room. It’s just far enough out of town that it stays very quiet but close enough we walked into town easily but they do have bikes available. We mostly paid for a car into town only costing about $3 AUD. I’m definitely going to be coming back here.
Almanity Hoi An Resort & Spa

It's such an amazing time that we spent there. The resort was beautiful and well designed with plenty of tropical trees, large swimming pool and quiet atmosphere. It's the very tough time for hospitality industry, but they still kept their atmosphere quite good. The room was well kept and enough for our stay. However, the electric card was kept on whole day, they could save a lots of money by install door card and electric card in one to reduce the electric usage in the guest rooms.
LASANTA Villa

Nice villa, seems new, but in some places shabby. The walls are dirty in the hall, dirty in the room, the sofa at the reception is stained. The windows are stained. We stayed for two nights and no one cleaned up during that time, did not add the missing items. The room was for three, and towels were given for two. The bed linen is not white, it feels like it was washed out. There are water stains on the ceiling. There is old dust on the TV and Wi-Fi. The rooms are beautiful, stylish, modern, but these little things are very upsetting. It will take 5 minutes to paint the walls in places.

The staffs were fantastic !! They were one of the best hospitality staffs there. We killed some time in the hotel lobby for a taxi to the airport due to delaying our flight. One staff was very caring our flight and she treated us some hot tea and some snacks. It touched our heart. Of course, the room was comfortable, clean, enough towels… I highly recommended to stay this hotel!
