Hotel Heinz

We were there with many people for a family weekend. The rooms are good, the location right next to the forest is beautiful, as the start of a large number of far-reaching hiking trails. We were a bit unlucky with the weather in that regard. The wellness area is very nice and offers a bit of everything. Here, too, it is of course even more successful if the weather also allows the use of the very beautifully landscaped open spaces. But the hotel cannot do anything about the latter. We ate in the hotel's restaurant as well as in the associated and nearby restaurant Flürchen. Highly recommended and very courteous service, as well as at breakfast, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of abundance for all tastes. The rooms are spacious (in our case the recommended suite) and the WiFi coverage is good. The dog-friendly attitude of the hotel is particularly likeable. You pay for it, but that's a big plus. Last but not least: praise the friendly bartenders! We will be back.

Thanks to the very warm support from Mrs. Rosenfeld, we were able to move into the most beautiful suite in her house at short notice. We felt completely comfortable, impressed by the view in this fantastically beautiful weather. Breakfast was a treat every day with lots of variety and very friendly staff. The four-course menu in the evening was also exquisite, a treat for the palate, presented by professional and humorous employees who tried very attentively to fulfill our wishes. The grounds offered us plenty of peace and a chance to relax in the sun. The sauna landscape was mostly very pleasant, especially the earth sauna with the excellent infusions by Armin and Jasmine. Both were characterized by their wonderful sense of humor and their imagination as well as a very personal approach. It would certainly be a pleasure to be able to use the honey-salt mixture for peeling more often. As a wish for the future, an outdoor pool would certainly increase the enjoyment even further by being able to cool off and refresh yourself in the almost subtropical temperatures. We were also enthusiastic about the possibility of the riding facility and the stables. I was there with my daughter for two days for wellness. We felt very comfortable. Very nice restaurant, nice service and all extra wishes were fulfilled. Many Thanks. The spa area is past its prime, the pool is small and dark. The staff in the spa very friendly and accommodating. Nice rooms, very clean and big enough.

Die Spa-Landschaft und das Frühstück lassen keine Wünsche offen. Allerdings hält das Essen ansonsten nicht, was die ambitioniert klingende Speisekarte verspricht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nur, wenn man Spa und Sauna ausgiebig nutzt und die Ansprüche an das Essen (…. und ein klein wenig auch an die Sauberkeit im Zimmer) zurückstellt. Für uns war der Aufenthalt okay, aber wir wollen nicht unbedingt wiederkommen.

Ich kann nicht genau sagen, wann ich das erste Mal im Hotel Heinz war. Sicher ist, zu dem Zeitpunkt war es noch ein Silence-Hotel. Man hat früh die Chance erkannt, wohin sich der Wellness-Trend entwickeln wir, hat investiert und den Standard auf ein gediegenes 4*+-Niveau gehoben. Ich habe immer noch das Bild des seinerzeitigen Frühstücksbuffets vor Augen - ein Kunstwerk, jeden Morgen! Nun bin nach ca. 7 - 8 Jahren wieder einmal für zwei Tage hier… und bin enttäuscht! Hotel und Restaurant haben sich signifikant zurückentwickelt. Auf Standard 3*, vielleicht noch +. Gründe aus meiner Sicht; die Präsentation des Frühstücksbuffets ist 0815. So werden Rührei und Spiegeleier nicht mehr frisch zubereitet, man muss sie aus dem Warmhaltebehälter entnehmen, die Obstauswahl beschränkt sich auf ein paar Äpfel. Die Tür hinter dem Sektkühler steht offen, der Bereich dahinter sieht nicht nach vier Sternen aus. Viele Türen sind sichtbar beschädigt, die Zimmer (ich hatte 301) sind nicht mehr state of the art und gehören renoviert. Auch der Spa-Bereich ist in die Jahre gekommen. Dass ich dort an einem Tag nicht auf einer Liege bleiben kann, erachte ich als wenig gastfreundlich. Soll ich mir nach jedem Saunagang einen neuen Platz suchen? Noch ein Wort zum Abendmenu: das war gut! Fazit: man sollte den eigenen USP überdenken. Für 4* braucht es in allem mehr. Was im Detail, lässt sich gut in 4*+-Hotels in Österreich benchmarken. Ein Beispiel: Die Wasnerin in Bad Aussee.

Restaurant Rudolf im Hotel Heinz, Anlass Geburtstag. Hohe Erwartung, wurde leider nicht erfüllt.Durchschnittliche Küche, kleine Portionen, anstrengender Service. Hohe Preise. Überwiegend Arrangement Gäste. Sehr Klassisch eingerichtet. Schöne Aussicht, Gute Parkmöglichkeiten, gut ausgeschildert. Leider keine Empfehlung!
