The hotel is just 50 meters from the subway station, making subway access incredibly convenient. Our room on the 18th floor offered excellent views and was very quiet. The bedding was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There's a large supermarket nearby, which is very handy for groceries. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! It's within walking distance to major commercial complexes like Changle Palace, Maoye, and Wanda, so all essential amenities are easily accessible. Overall, the transportation is exceptionally convenient. Highly recommended!

Hampton by Hilton Hohhot Gulou boasts a truly perfect location, making travel incredibly convenient. One thing to note is that the hotel's parking lot is quite small and requires navigating a narrow lane to access, so drivers should be aware of this in advance. I communicated my room preferences to the front desk beforehand, and I was very pleased with the result. At night, the stunning city skyline view from my room's window was exceptionally pleasant. The most delightful surprise was the hotel's revolving restaurant, offering 360-degree panoramic views of the city while dining – a truly unique experience. The food also incorporated local specialties, adding a wonderful touch to my stay.

The room was clean and odor-free, with very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The hotel felt very safe and quiet. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, even offering a complimentary double breakfast and fruit upon check-in, and a creative fridge magnet at check-out. The hotel is conveniently located between Hailiang Plaza and Xinhua Plaza, with a shopping street just steps away. Famous attractions like Jokhang Temple, the Mosque, and Kuan Alley Food Street are all within three kilometers, making it perfect for a walk around the city. Within a few hundred meters, you'll find restaurants like Banmudi Youmian Village and Gerile Ama Traditional Mongolian Restaurant, both worth trying. The hotel is also very close to Metro Line 1, making it super easy to get here from Hohhot East High-Speed Railway Station. Definitely a recommended hotel!

The room was quite clean, and while the decor showed its age, it didn't feel outdated. There were more hooks than in typical hotels, which made it very convenient to hang clothes and bags. The window soundproofing was excellent; as a light sleeper who is genuinely sensitive to noise, I barely heard any outdoor sounds once I was in the room. There was also no peculiar smell when I turned off the air conditioning. Crucially, I didn't see any bugs or get bitten by mosquitoes during my stay. The mattress was neither too soft nor too firm, offering good support. I usually prefer a firmer bed, so this one was just right – definitely much better than those so soft you feel like sleeping on the floor. I really liked the hotel's location. Right downstairs, next door, is a large sports field, and just past the field is Qingcheng Park. A short stroll from there takes you to Kuanzhai Alley, which was perfect for someone like me who loves to walk around. Breakfast was quite plentiful. They offered shaomai (steamed dumplings) and milk tea; I ended up eating 7 shaomai! 😂 The milk tea was unremarkable, but I much preferred the soy milk. The cheese selection was a bit limited, seemingly only cheddar and Gouda. I didn't see any other varieties. Service-wise, it's a matter of personal opinion, I suppose. The staff I encountered were all quite young and didn't come across as particularly warm or enthusiastic. However, their service quality and efficiency were definitely on point. They were helpful in solving problems; for example, when I called for earplugs close to 11 PM, they were delivered to my room within minutes. A minor downside was that food delivery couldn't come directly to the room; I had to go downstairs to the lobby entrance to pick it up. I stayed at three different hotels over three nights in Hohhot, intending to compare them all. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, it's highly likely I'll choose to stay here again next time I visit.

The excellent service is definitely the biggest highlight of this hotel; it was the first thing I noticed upon arrival. Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed its simple, clean, and pleasant decor. Getting around is very convenient, with a bus stop right outside offering a direct route to Kuanzhai Alley. Breakfast was quite home-style; it was decent, though it could get crowded during busy periods. Parking was also very convenient, and a major bonus was that it's free. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the pillows in my room were made of latex – a perk of the complimentary upgrade to a latex pillow room provided by the front desk! The room was perfect for two people, feeling just right and secure. I often stay here because of its excellent value for money. Check-in and check-out are always quick, and to top it all off, they even offered a complimentary late check-out!

Clean, hi-tech and great service! The free laundry room made all the difference for us folks who like to wear freshly clean clothes every day. The hotel staff were very patient with us as we tried to communicate with them using Google Translate, due to our complete lack of Chinese language proficiency. Loved being able to distance from the ever-present tobacco smoke while inside the hotel. Will definitely book this hotel again. 

The location is excellent, right in the city center, just one metro stop from Xinhua Square and about 200 meters from Zhongshan Road Station on Metro Line 1. The lobby is spacious and bright, with a dedicated area for guests to store their luggage. The front desk service was attentive and warm. I accidentally booked a duplicate reservation because I misread the dates when extending my stay, and the front desk staff patiently helped me communicate with the platform to resolve it, which was fantastic. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall with plenty of shops, entertainment options, and restaurants, making it very convenient for dining and leisure. The hotel's information indicates it's a quasi-four-star hotel, and the rooms are also quite spacious and bright. The only drawbacks are the lack of a gym, no laundry service, and no complimentary shopping bags. Free parking is available, and a 200 RMB deposit is required upon check-in.

The location is fantastic, right next to the train station. It's incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and picking up local specialties. Excellent value for money. The soundproofing was also quite good. I arrived early for check-in, and the front desk staff kindly helped me find an available room so I could check in ahead of schedule. Much appreciated! Too bad I forgot to take photos.

This hotel is located in the bustling commercial district of the city center, with subway and bus stops right outside its doors, making transportation and shopping incredibly convenient. No matter what issues arose during my stay, the front desk and room service staff were always prompt in addressing and resolving them. I was very satisfied and highly recommend it.
