The host and hostess were very welcoming. She even gave me a puzzle that she just finished to take home. The room was adorable, and the breakfast was delicious. The house was decorated exquisitely. Loved sitting on the front porch with a delicious cup of coffee.

Host was very friendly and welcoming and gave us plenty of space. Room was huge with a fireplace and luxurious bed with heavenly textiles. Bathroom was perfect with a Clawfoot tub, towel warmer, and fireplace. Breakfast was divine with quiche, potato casserole, muffin, mousse, and juice. We'll be back!

My young sons and I stayed at the Hogan House Bed and Breakfast while visiting family in the area this summer. Before our stay, I will admit that I had some doubts about whether it was a good idea to bring two rowdy six-year-olds to a beautiful home full of fragile antiques. However, once we arrived, we were greeted with such kindness and warmth, that I began to feel my trepidation subside. The hostess assured us that, if we needed some downtime, we could spend time in the main rooms of the house, reading or playing board games. My sons felt immediately at home and began referring to the house with delight as "The Mansion" (and, thankfully, the antiques all survived our visit!) We enjoyed several peaceful nights' sleep, and enjoyed one afternoon sitting on the porch during a summer rainstorm. Oh, and the breakfasts were delicious--particularly the chocolate mousse--and those fresh cookies...irresistible! I highly recommend Hogan House to anyone traveling in the area. The hospitality was just exceptional!

Thank you Linda, Patsy and Anna for making our visit to the Hogan house so amazing! You all showed such true southern hospitality by welcoming us in like we were family minute one. Our room was a true gem and the breakfasts were fantastic. We look forward to returning!

My husband and I stayed here for a night to break up a long drive and what a wonderful find! Beautiful rooms with antiques, a front porch with rocking chairs and the bed had the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on. The owner is so sweet and made us a fantastic fresh breakfast served on the prettiest antique china. The town is cute and quaint. Definitely recommend!

Very nice and interesting house. Meticulously clean. Beautiful room, comfy bed, good breakfast. When passing through, we will go back. The hostess, Linda, was very friendly and accommodating. We felt like we got to know her. Small town, quaint and pretty. Not a lot there but close to interstate. We were in a 2 day trip to sightsee LaGrange to see mansion and Biblical History Museum, which we’re both worth it.

We visited the Hogan House for an overnight visit. If not careful you can pass it but there is adequate signage. There is also adequate off-street parking. We checked in and were shown to the Iris Suite. The suite was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. Not many rooms have a fireplace in the bathroom with a claw foot tub. However, when we were shown the room we were pretty sternly told to only turn the main light on and off at the wall switch. The light also controls the ceiling fan. Our problem was we could never figure out how to leave the ceiling fan on without the light being on. This made our room stuffy and quite warm leading to a poor nights sleep. This is a situation any electrician could remedy in about 15 minutes like we have at home. We tried to call the host to see what to do but could not get any help. Truthfully no no number or contact information was given. I actually called the main number on their website and have not received a response in over 48 hours. Second we were told we would have scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast. The dining room was very pretty but when we visit a bed and breakfast we look forward to a unique breakfast. We can have eggs, bacon, and grits at home. So a beautiful house but a poor night’s sleep with an average breakfast with no visitor support deserves a poor review.
