The hotel is okay. It was clean but furniture was a bit torn. The room does not have soap, shampoo or conditioner. Breakfast was cereal, boiled eggs, toast, and fruit. It worked for our one night stay.

A cute hotel by the glacier is definitely a plus. The room did not have a hair dryer and the soap by the shower was on the other side of the sink in the bathroom. Minor things but it was clean and the staff was nice. The hotel was adequate but I would not say it was excellent. I would not mind staying there again.

This was probably the best room and bathroom we had on our entire trip. It was very spacious and clean with a view of the glacier from our window. The location is beautiful and remote so there is no where to walk to eat so plan accordingly. We went to Hofn before checking in to have an early dinner and that worked perfectly! We did have an early morning wake up call with the fire alarm going off but it was very quickly rectified once we had rang the emergency number on the door! Breakfast was okay, basic with only waffles as warm/hot food.

Stayed here for one night on our Icelandic ting road trip. The hotel is a little off the beaten track. It was okay for one night and suited our needs. The room was comfortable and we slept well but it was quite basic. At breakfast there was a good choice

While this place was clean and safe which are my two "musts", there were things like the drapes not closing in our room and stains on the duvet cover that stood out. It was very rough around the edges! Breakfast was pretty good!

This guesthouse was very nice. A herd of reindeer greeted us at arrival and were waiting to send us off. We enjoyed free access to the natural hot springs, just down the road and a nice and filling breakfast. Very friendly staff, we would stay again!

This guesthouse has two buildings: one new, where there is also the reception and large breakfast room, the other (where we stayed) an old renovated building. The rooms there were simple, but fine and clean. The shared bathrooms excellent and clean. This building does not look nice from the outside. Friendly welcome. Near the hotel there is a hot water lagoon, which guesthouse guests can use for free. There is also a toilet and changing room. Simple plastic tubs in the ground, but a nice relaxing experience after a long day. When the weather is nice you can see the glacier in the distance from there. There is no restaurant, you have to go to Hofn for that. Breakfast quite standard.

Nothing negative: good welcome, rooms ok, the view of the glacier is superb, the photos are very telling but we are in the middle of nowhere and we don't necessarily want to get back in the car after a day's drive to go eat at Hoffn because there is no longer a restaurant (I say no more because there was one to read the reviews from a few years ago). This is the negative point

A more than hospitable guest house with friendly, courteous and hard-working staff. Facing the white glacier, the rooms are also white and super clean. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. Affordable prices, considering that we are in one of the most expensive countries in the world.
