We loved our stay at Becks. The lodge is beautiful and the food is amazing. Our guide Matthew and our tracker Forget were very informative, engaging and great at spotting at wildlife. We saw the Big 5 during our stay and had multiple sightings of each. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Namely Granny always had a smile on her face and she was lovely. Moses was very helpful too. Johan and Adelina were always on hand to help and nothing was too much trouble. The wildlife was incredible, but the staff made our stay special. Thank you so much, we will be back!

Everything was handled perfectly! Amazing cuisine, delicious breakfast, my unit was huge inside and all amenities provided. The staff was very service oriented with a smile. The managers, husband and wife team, Johan and Adeline were gracious, informative, listened to my requests and stayed here twice already, I knew what to expect. My safari guide, Williams and the Tracker, Forget, were hands on excellent with all the game rides. I’ll definitely return in the near future.

A Safari at Beck's is sublime. The hosts Adelina and Johahn are super friendly and know every guest by name, and engage with every guest throughout each day. The game drives are superb, the guides and trakers are excellent. We got to see the big 5, and lots more. Food is superb, and the Boma dinner (Al fresco BBQ) was a great experience. I thoroughly recommend this Safari lodge to everyone. We went in late July 2025.

Exceptional spacious and comfortable room with facilities to heat the room when returning from dinner. The plunger coffee with the home baked biscuits almost causes you to be late for the morning game drive. Better game drives with the efforts by the Guide and tracker will be difficult to find and then to return to either excellent breakfast or dinner complete a wonderful experience

Booked for my wife's dream holiday and her dreams came true. Our 5 day trip started when we were greeted by the very attentive manager Ingrid who made sure everything about our stay was incredible. The rooms were out of this world with views from our balcony of the bush with sightings of lots of wildlife including zebra and giraffe. All of the staff always greeted you with their infectious smiles and provide a service above and beyond what we could have expected serving some of the best food we have ever eaten. We had 10 game drives over the 5 days with The guide Obvious and the tracker Johanas making it an adventure every drive. We saw the big 5 on several occasions and our experiences with the Lions and Elephants were breathtaking . We saw a lion pride succesful hunt (giraffe) which was amazing but also very sad ( wife sohed tears for sure). A lovely south afican family were with us on some of these drives and said they had never experienced any thing the same before on several safaris they had done Sorry I have gone on a little but it was superb. Didn't want to leave

A friend and I stayed at Beck's Lodge as a combination retirement and bucket list trip to S. Africa. Everything was perfect: the service, the food, the accommodations and the variety of activities. Every staff member went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful experience. The highlight was the game drives with Eddie and Polly who were so friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we got to see all of the Big 5. Make sure to ask for this team for your game drives at Beck's. I can't recommend this place highly enough - can't wait to go back!

This place...unbelievable! Such a peaceful retreat in the heart of the wildlife reserve. We came for our honeymoon and were not disappointed. Every member of staff, whether that be the managers, the waiters and waitresses, the chefs, reception and of course, the trackers and guides, were so friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had the best time ever. A special shout out to our driver, Evans, and tracker, James, who provided us with the most thrilling game drives where we saw all the big five and more! Food was stunning, and the chefs catered to my allergies where necessary. We also went on a bush walk and had a massage as extras, these were both amazing. We will never forget our time here and would highly recommend this as a honeymoon trip.

The staff were absolutely welcoming & if you wanted anything they were there to help. Accommodation was very comfortable and the lodges were spacious. Game drives were a great highlight the guide & tracker made sure we got to see the big five & even more animals, birds, flora & fauna. I would certainly recommend this safari Lodge to anyone visiting South Africa.

As a family, we learned more about the ecology, maintenance of animals, and discovery of animal behavior during our trip to the Karongwe Game Reserve - more than we learned at the national parks like Kruger. We stayed at Beck's Safari Lodge which was outstanding - clean, large rooms, high pressure hot water, and beautifully decorated luxury lodge. Many unique animal sightings, the staff were outstanding, we felt very welcomed and had an amazing time. We highly recommend visiting the game reserve and staying at this lodge.
