We had a lovely full serviced camp including gamedrives and meals. It was wonderfull! The only critical thing we can think of is the route to the game drives in the Morning. Of took 3/4 of an hour to get to a game reserve where the Big 5 lives. In the winter of can be very cold and windy, with no roof or Windows in the game car.

A group of us celebrated my 50th at Rukiya Camp, the staff was amazing and went out of their way to make everything very special and cater to our every desire. The place is beautiful and serene. Highly recommended

From start to finish, it was an amazing experience. The location is stunning, the food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rangers were fantastic, from the morning game drives with breakfast, to the sunset drives with drinks, and the dinners in the evening. everything was perfectly organised. They gave us a truly complete and unforgettable experience.

I was so excited to sleep in a tent! And our bed had a hot water bottle in it every night. OMG! Kevin was a delightful host and the food was delicious We were up every morning at 0500 and saw many animals. Marvin was the best driver/tracker. I really appriciated his insight into his ethnic beliefs

Rukiya is everything you could want in a Safari Camp, COMFY BEDS!, brilliant food, great seevice and spectacular guides. The sound of hippos while you go to sleep in your safari tent. The atmosphere at camp was very calm and quiet. With Nyala sometimes grazing in the grass infront of the pool. It really was heaven. We will definitely be back!

A Wonderfull place with very friendly and helpful staff. Food was also very good and chef had no problems cooking excellent food with dietary requirements (gluten free). Went to three safaris with grate guides.

Rukiya is a small scale Safari Camp in the Wild Rivers Nature Reserve close to Kruger NP. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpfull, really trying to find an answer to all your questions and needs. I have a serious eating disorder what makes travelling complicated in full board schemes, but staff and kitchen did a tremendous job to provide adequate dishes for me. Because there was a small problem with the tent we were meant to stay, we got a free upgrade to the river house, a very comfortable and welcoming surprise. White Rivers itself isn't a big 5 reserve and therefore the sightings in this reserve can feel less rewarding. Morning game drives are done in the Balule Reserve, which is a beautiful Big 5 reserve. We saw rhino, elephant and buffalo, besides herds of antelope, zebra, hippo and so on, plus countless amazing birds.
