A Christmas vacation that I can only wish for everyone. From arrival to departure a stay you will not forget. We came as strangers and left as friends 😊 A super well-run family hotel where the whole staff pulls together. The senior, a trained chef, like his son with a top-class kitchen, also has his Welsh Black cattle breed, which are also processed in the house. We had an amazing program, carriage rides with Andrea, she had the horses under control. After an hour's drive, there's a break, a walk and then delicious pea soup, mulled wine, punch, coffee or soft drinks. There was freshly smoked trout for lunch on Christmas Eve. Super delicious from the junior in the evening. I would have liked to work with his crow (I retired after 53 years in gastro, myself a chef). And every day a new highlight like a walk with the senior to his Welsh Black cattle. No matter where we were, food was always taken care of. Planning for a return visit although just back home is already underway.
