Loved the stay. The hotel was very new, the rooms are beautiful, clean and tidy. House keeping was good.
The bell boy in the afternoon had a big smile, friendly and very helpful.
Buffet breakfast was great too, it can get busy after 9am.
Convinient location to walk to the wharf or explore Hobart city. There is free parking on the street in the evening to avoid the $35 a day parking charge.

Great new hotel in a good spot! Breakfast pretty much the same daily with minimal changes to offerings, but the staff were nice and friendly! Pool is usually crowded except for early mornings. And the unforgettable walnut cookie that you can always get more off at reception!

Just like other DoubleTree by Hilton hotels, this new hotel in Hobart provides excellent room and breakfast experience. We were always greeted & served by service oriented staff, & the signature welcome chocolate cookie was yummy. There was a free upgrade to a bigger room & it was so spacious & comfortable. Love the amenities in room as well as the complimentary coffee & tea bags. Breakfast was of great quality, didn't regret adding it to my booking. If we had to nitpick, location was a bit off from the main action near Franklin Square, but it wasn't too bad, about 10-15 min walk.
Overall, it was a wonderful 2-night stay & I'd love to stay here again if I return to Hobart!

Very nice stay at a convenient location, parking available on site but also plenty on street option around the area. Room feels mew and clean with usb charging. Pool and sauna is a plus. Great view.

The Doubletree came to the rescue after a bad start to our holiday at another hotel.
Doubletree is a breathe of fresh air with food swimming pool gym and sauna at your fingertips
The bar at reception is a very nice start to an evening on the town. Only a short walk to Salamanca. I can’t speak highly enough.
The reception staff were amazing. 11 out of 10.

We highly recommend this hotel. Its facilities and furniture were new. The staff were all helpful and friendly. We received welcoming cookies when checking in. They had an onsite parking which can only be reserved and paid when checking in. Overall, it was a great hotel.

Would have like a spa in the hotel somewhere as there was no bath in our room. Beautiful bed, quiet room. Coffee machine and decent size bin would be good and a microwave maybe.
