I visited Hoar Cross Hall with my husband to celebrate my Birthday, as a day guest for only the second time in 25 years! After an early start and a long drive we were very disappointed by the long queues to check in (I have given my feedback and suggestions in the follow up experience questionnaire) —and then a quick bite for breakfast at Henry’s was extended by slow service, even tho the restaurant was quiet (a warm welcome or a cheery thank yu and goodbye would also have been nice) However, from then on, the day quickly turned into pure indulgence. We treated ourselves to spa treatments towards the end of the day so we could enjoy more of the facilities during our visit. A deep tissue massage for my husband and a wonderfully relaxing ‘Voya’ facial for me, followed by a shower in the spotless and tidy changing rooms, complete with Voya body wash and shampoo etc. Great facilities for hair drying etc before heading home. We thoroughly enjoyed a float in the saltwater pool. Much of our time, however, was blissfully spent in the balmy Terrace spa pools, soaking up the sunshine with drinks delivered straight to us—what a treat! The area is perfectly equipped with cabanas, loungers, and a stunning oak bar, while the Juniper log sauna provided both rejuvenation and a fantastic view of the spas and prairie planting. Though the snooze room and sanctum were busy, missing out on a planned nap was no big deal considering everything else on offer. There was even a (new?) Reading Room to enjoy. Having visited Hoar Cross Hall for 25 years, I absolutely adore the recent refurbishments. Whether you’re seeking activity or tranquility, the spa delivers in spades. We especially loved the Scandinavian-inspired Nordic heat and ice suite—immaculately clean and beautifully laid out. Overall, Hoar Cross Hall continues to impress, offering a perfect blend of relaxation, luxury, and thoughtful design. Truly a spa experience worth savouring!

We had a mostly great stay at Hoar Cross Hall, this was our third visit since 2022. Unfortunately this year we had a few issues which we had not experienced before - at dinner once we had finished our meal, we were waiting a long time for someone to bring us the receipt to sign - we weren’t sure whether we needed to wait for this as nobody had mentioned to us what was needed to be done at the end of the meal. The main issue we experienced was human faeces in the hotel corridor. There was a long trail which went a significant distance down the hallway, many guests (including us) not noticing it at first and stepping in it - we had to go back to our room and clean our shoes in the shower. It took a long time for staff to start to clean this up - appreciate it is not their fault if nobody had reported it, but this is not really what you expect at a £500 per night stay. The spa itself was lovely, we both had treatments which were really good. Could do with some more of the floats in the pool, these were pretty much never free - there was definitely room in the pool for a few more. The rooms could do with air con or better ventilation, ours was absolutely boiling, the fan didn’t reach to face the bed, luckily I’d packed an extension lead. Overall the food was great, cocktails a little expensive but good - would come back again.

Went for a surprise day visit to the Spa for our 3rd year anniversary, the facilities were incredible and the staff were immensely helpful. Dinner at Hugo’s was exceptional and our server Alicia was beyond amazing, my partner has severe allergies which were fully catered for with utmost care which especially added to the relaxation of the whole day. The new rooftop terrace and outdoor spa was beautiful with great service. Overall a lovely surprise present and a venue we will be returning to in the future!

After an incredible overnight stay as part of The PA Way venue showcase, today was all about wellness – and the spa at Hoar Cross Hall absolutely delivered. Set within one of Europe’s largest and most luxurious spa facilities, the experience was seamless from start to finish. The space itself is stunning: beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully laid out to help you slow down and switch off. I spent my day unwinding in their hydrotherapy pool, detoxing in the various saunas and steam rooms, and soaking up the sunshine on the peaceful outdoor spa terrace — complete with bubbling whirlpools, lush landscaping and a relaxed, restorative vibe throughout. We felt truly looked after by the wonderful Etienne and Corey, they embody the phrase service with a smile - we felt like VIPs all day There’s a clear emphasis on balance and wellbeing, with everything from aromatherapy and quiet zones to more energising spaces like the Nordic heat area and saltwater vitality pool. The treatment menu is extensive and high-end, featuring top-tier products and a serene environment that makes you feel genuinely cared for. Whether you're looking to build wellness into your next corporate retreat or just treat yourself to a little self-care, Hoar Cross Hall's spa is a standout. A perfect complement to the elegance of the venue – and a reminder that sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is pause and recharge.

We visited in a group of four for a Serenity Spa day and had a wonderful day. The facilities at Hoar Cross Hall are excellent, particularly since the addition of the spa terrace, and all staff are friendly and helpful. The quality of the treatments is very good, and the cost of treatments is reasonable, bearing in mind the surroundings. We have been to Hoar Cross Hall several times and it has always been very enjoyable, but yesterday was the best so far. The whole lunch experience definitely sets Hoar Cross Hall apart from other spa days. There is a broad menu choice, the food is delicious and the service impeccable.
