This is a family run local homestay hotel, with bungalow accomodation. There are also some dorms, so it is possible to do this on a budget. It offers communal eating, and the food was good. This is better than most backpacker type accomodation, and very suitable to anyone on a budget. The pool is good, and the water was nice and warm. The internet connection was good and although the rooms are basic, the beds are comfortable and provide everything that you need.

The place is very cosy. The host family is very warm and friendly. The place feels like home. They served delicious home made local food. Highly recommend to stay here. The rooms are very nice. Recommend The bicycle tour

Good hostel with nice facilities and free breakfast. The best part was the staff, the owner greeted us and gave as u map and full explanation of where to visit and what prices. Also their son dean is a living legend, coolest kid on the block. Thanks

This was booked as part of a 2 day trip The room was basic but fine (no tv) It was very wet while I was there and the room was a little damp - the bedding was fresh and clean but the air was damp The hosts were very nice and cooked a nice dinner but breakfast was disappointing It was a bit out of town but they had bikes so that was fine

We spent two days in Ninh Bình with one and half hour drive from the hustle and bustle Hanoi. We booked a room in Tam Cốc Little River Bungalow, a family run business. The hotel is located in heart of the UNESCO heritage site: the Trang An-Tam Coc-Bich Dong scenic landscape. The owners are very tentative, friendly and good cook. If you want to stay locally and explore the Vietnamese food this hotel is a good choice.

These hosts are naturals. Tun and Thom are very good communicators who genuinely want to help. Facilities are very good. Accommodation is dormitory as well as bungalows - all very neat and clean. You might be lucky to witness (or join) a local Vietnamese singalong during the evening.

My partner and I stayed at the Little River Bungalow for two nights at the beginning of May 2022. Tun and Thom immediately made us feel welcome and at home, their hosting went above and beyond which included cooking us a traditional Vietnamese meal and giving us home made rice wine, booking taxis, advising us on the local attractions with the help of a paper map which we used for navigation, and providing us with a scooter/bicycle when we needed them. Tun and Thom spent one evening chatting with us and exchanging stories, this was a very enjoyable evening. The location of the home stay is ideal as it is very close to the centre of Tam Coc and it is easy to get around on a bicycle. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable - exactly what we required for our short stay. Thanks again Tun and Thom.

Llegamos con un tour reservado con Get to guide, al llegar el alojamiento estaba completo y nos acompañaron a otro hotel. Para cenar regresamos aquí, había mucha variedad, comida deliciosa y Thom su anfitriona es maravillosa, todo el tiempo hablando con los huéspedes nos invitó a Happy Water y hicimos juegos con todos los huéspedes del hotel. Thom has hecho nuestra estancia maravillosa, eres una mujer increíble!! Muchísimas gracias ☺️

L’hôtel est un peu excentré mais c’est mieux comme ça. La nourriture est excellente! Les chambres sont parfaites et le cadre très reposant. Les hôtes sont incroyablement sympas et serviables. Thom est une très bonne guide! Je recommande vivement!
