Lovely place to stay with very helpful staff. Food was nice and could borrow bikes for free to explore. We had to pay extra to use sauna/jacuzzi, which was not ready during off season so we had to wait, but staff did everything they could to make stay enjoyable.

The room had two Aircon/heater units, one would not heat and the other was missing a remote. We saw a total of 4 staff members and most rooms were empty but late checkout was not allowed. Breakfast was terrible and late. Cold pho, sad ban mi, old watermelon, cold coffee and we sat in the dark for the first half. Happy with the help of the staff member who helped with organising taxis.

The resort is in a convenient location, easy to get to. The space is a bit cramped, the reception area and restaurant are arranged in the same place, with a lot of furniture so it's cramped. The room is also quite small, with the bed next to the door, so when you open the door you can bump into the bed. However, the bed is also large and comfortable. The service staff is not professional, we have to remind and urge many times to get an extra bed. Dinner was pre-ordered, but when it was ordered, there were missing dishes, and we had to wait until almost the end of the meal to get the food. The food was a bit spicy.

The hotel consists of several villas facing a small lake. We chose a room with a lake view, and the view from the large bay window and the balcony was just stunning! The bedding was comfortable, and tea, coffee, and water were provided. The bathroom was small but had very good water pressure in the shower, and the water was nice and hot. The buffet breakfast offers everything, with a wide selection including fresh fruits, yogurt, typical dishes, pastries, juices… etc… (however, the rolls and croissants were not very fresh during our 3-night stay). The hotel’s pool is also very beautiful, with sunbeds and towels available, and bicycles are provided for free. The reception staff was kind and very welcoming (special mention to AMY!!! Always so smiley and so kind and helpfull). The hotel is ideally located: just a 1-minute walk from Bich Dong Pagoda. The place is peaceful and absolutely gorgeous, like a movie set! There are many cafes and restaurants directly around the hotel. A small boat dock is a 1-minute walk away, and we chose a 1-hour to 1.5-hour boat tour (500,000 VND for 2), which was gorgeous and much less crowded than the one from Tam Coc. We were able to visit everything by bike, through rice field paths, all the way to Mua Caves, without any safety concerns or distance issues. It’s the perfect means of transportation. Compared to other hotels and homestays in the same area, Tam Coc La Montagne is more expensive (probably too much so in comparison), but the place is really beautiful. The only downside of the room was that the door was not soundproof at all, and the old lock was very noisy. Every time someone enters their room, we can hear it. Maybe a bit too pricey in comparison with some other places just near by.

Leaving this morning after two nights here during our Vietnam tour. Wifi is awful and often not working, breakfast is very poor in my opinion where they are using defrosted bread , croissants and rolls. There is incessant construction noise from very early in the morning (5 am today) and cockerels. The only positive is a lovely view from the piol

We popped into just the restaurant for an evening meal - surprised to be taken through to a rather grand dining room (part of the whole resort) as from the road it looked just like a usual road side restaurant which specialised in pizza (but with other dishes available). The service was excellent and the food was delicious although a couple of the dishes were not exactly as described in the menu (some Ingredients missing or replaced, and the panna cotta was not set). On the pricey side for Vietnam, but still good value vs similar standard in UK.

Next door is a building site - which completely ruins the otherwise tranquil setting . The swimming pool is next to the building site so any plans for relaxing swim or spa goes out of the window. The resort should be telling future bookings the situation so that other plans could be made.

The peaceful space of the Tam Coc area impressed us very much, the service was very professional, and the food was delicious. The owner, a European-Vietnamese nationality, is very friendly and has a great pizza oven in the cold season. My family has to come here at least 3 times every year when we have free time

Stayed here recently as part of a Tour group on a journey across Vietnam. We appeared to be the only guests in the resort. Hotel us visually stunning, the great timber hall for reception area is amazing. Our group were located in various villas towards the swimming pool area. Our room had a fantastic view of the lake/mountains and was very spacious. Swimming pool was very nice. Poolside Bar area was not available during our stay and hotel missed a trick by not offering any sort of poolside service. Evening meal food service was bordering on farcical if I'm honest. Only one young lad on duty who had a very basic grasp of English. Started taking drink orders for the group then switched to taking food and drink orders half way, so leaving half the group to then make food orders later on, as he'd then gone off to start the drinks orders! We ordered a bottle of white wine, were then offered half a bottle already opened, rejected that, then hotel switched to a totally different type of wine to that ordered! We had to get our Vietnamese Tour guide involved to sort the situation!! Food arrived in various stages, so some of the group finished their meal before others were even served!! As the only guests in the hotel, we expected a much better level of service. Simply don't know how they'd cope with a full hotel!
