Disappointing Stay Despite Good Location
I stayed at this hotel during my visit to Vietnam and unfortunately, my experience was not great. The hotel itself is quite old-fashioned, and while it had a window, it only looked out to the back of the building. The WiFi kept dropping frequently, which made it hard to stay connected.
One of the most inconvenient things was having to climb two flights of stairs just to reach the elevator that serves floors 2 to 8. My room was on the 8th floor, so this got tiring quickly, especially after long days out.
The staff were polite, but my biggest issue was that three of my personal items were stolen from my room. I had left them on the table to use when I got back—nothing valuable, just everyday things like my water bottle, hair product, and body wash—and they were gone when I returned. I reported this during check-out, and the front desk staff just said "ok" with no apology or concern, which was disappointing.
Yes, there is a sign suggesting guests put valuables in the safe, but these were not valuables—they were personal effects. Am I supposed to lock up my toiletries too?
The one positive I’ll mention is that the location is very convenient—close to many restaurants and shops. But sadly, the lack of security and the dismissive response to my complaint really overshadowed that.
