CityHouse - El Pino Realm at Metro Ben Thanh Market

The hotel is new and very clean. The room is good too, like the photos. Although it is one of the better hotels I have stayed in for this price point in Ho chi Minh there are some points that could be better. One, the shower drain is clogged, because of this water would fill up quick and I couldn't therefore shower more than 3 minutes else it would flood the bathroom. Second, in my room there was a (locked) door separating my room to another room. This is fine but this door doesn't have any isolation at all. You could clearly hear people talk in the other room. Third, the personnel in the hotel were very kind, but there were 2 guards in the car basement, one of them was really rude to me and my father when we asked if we could park our motorbike there. The way he talked to us was in big contrast to the personnel upstairs and not how you speak to guests.

The room that we have stayed is nice, big, comfortable and clean. We are happy with the room except for the daily breakfast being served in the room, there isn't much of selection and no change of daily menu.

The hotel is newly renovated and has a great location in District 1. The decor is nice, and the gym is decent. However, I can only give it three stars due to a few issues: • The “double bed” is actually two single beds pushed together with a sheet on top, which means you end up sinking into the gap in the middle. • My room had a connecting door to the neighboring room, and the noise level was so high that it felt like the person next door was in my room. A good stay overall, but these details made it less comfortable than expected.

Staff were friendly, attentive. Room was spacious and I love how big the apartment concept was, location was good, walking distance around ben thanh area and michelin food were reachable just by walking and its by the street not at some aisle where you got to walk in, safe!
