Scammers and deception! I do not recommend it to anyone!
We booked the APEC Hotel for two days, hoping to spend the end of our honeymoon in comfort. We booked a room with a city view for $45. After a 10-hour flight from Bali, we were met with rudeness and deception. At the reception, they told us that they did not see our reservation for a room with a city view. Instead of promptly solving the problem, they kept us for an hour, and after a long argument, they gave us a room that looked more like a closet.
The room was tiny, maximum for $15-18, but not for $45! There was only one towel in the room, the room itself is extremely small and uncomfortable.
We asked to move us on the second day to the room we originally booked, but we were refused, saying that it was already occupied! So we were left in this closet for the entire duration of our stay.
When it was time to check out, we asked for a refund of the price difference, as the room did not meet the stated conditions. But of course, we were ignored. They tried to write us a check for 1.7 million for the room, although we paid 2.4 million!
We came here hoping to have a nice time on our honeymoon, but in the end, the mood was completely ruined. This hotel is a scam and disrespect for guests. I strongly do not recommend it.
