The Hogwarts

It's a self-check-in hostel, and you can enter your room at check-in time. Since it's called "Hogwarts," I assumed it would be Harry Potter-themed, but when I walked inside, I saw Gryffindor and Slytherin flags hanging up. 😊 It was a single room, and while it really did have a dorm-like atmosphere, I felt like I was in my own room and relaxed. It was well-cleaned and comfortable. It was a little hard to find when I arrived, but it felt like a hidden gem, which I found fascinating. The room was fully equipped with everything you need, including a kettle and hair dryer. There was also a laundry room on the first floor, which cost 40,000 yen per load. The washing machine right inside the entrance was broken, so I was advised to use the vertical washing machine at the back. The room key was a little difficult to open, but I managed to open it by pulling the doorknob toward me. It's very close to Bui Vien Street, so you can hear music even late at night, but for those who don't mind that and who enjoy Bui Vien Street, this is a great, reasonably priced stay. One slight annoyance was when I heard other guests banging on the door and crying one night, likely due to their drunkenness. This was a bit scary, but I was relieved to hear that they were able to help me after I immediately contacted the staff via WhatsApp. I communicated mostly via WhatsApp, and the staff were very friendly and responded quickly, which was very helpful. I'm 164cm tall, and the bed length was just right. I didn't have any issues, but people taller than me might find it a bit cramped. Furthermore, the front door was sometimes locked and wouldn't open from the inside, but I could easily open it by pressing the unlock button just to the right of the door. Given the location, minor issues are unavoidable, but the staff were quick to respond, so I felt at ease. Check-in is self-service, so it would be easier if you asked the staff where the key is first. Thank you for your help!
