We had a lovely family holiday at Leopard Walk Lodge as an extended family vacation. We stayed in the secrets of the forest bungalows which were very comfortable and spacious and surrounded by beautiful indigenous bush. It was wonderful to wake up surrounded by nature and we loved our nightly visits from a nosy nag apie. The wonderful chef, Zanele, took great care to consult about meals and to accommodate our young children’s palates. Watching her passion for her work was really a joyous part of each meal. Mlu went out of his way to organise child-friendly activities and were so appreciated his extensive knowledge of bush medicine and his shared anecdotes of his grandmother’s knowledge passed down. We did day trips to St Lucia wetlands, Hluhluwe game reserve and the nearby crocodile park. The lodge is very conveniently situated for all. Thank you to the staff for making this a very memorable stay in a truly beautiful spot.

We spent our anniversary at the lodge and all I can say is WOW!!! The friendliest, most loving staff made our stay so nice. And the chef, mamma, top notch food!! Everything was out of this world. Anything we wanted they attended to us. There are so many animals that walks past our suite in the mornings whilst having coffee. The dinner under the stars by the boma was our favorite. Well done to the lodge for world class hospitality!!

Friends and I recently fount a hidden treasure in the heart of the South African Kwa-Zulu Natal wetlands area, located near a town called Hluhluwe. Our stay was brief and yet memorable. We were greeted by our host and staff on our arrival in a very hospitable and professional manner. Waking up in the morning and being greeted by a tame Zebra walking past at arms length, just added to a truly exceptional out doors South African experience.
