I absolutely loved it! The staff are warm, welcoming, and very professional. The chef is world class. The accommodation is tasteful, comfortable and spotless. The setting is gorgeous and I saw numerous animals. I felt safe and pampered throughout. It way surpassed expectations and I’d love to go back. Don’t hesitate. It’s a very, very special place.

My 3-year old and I stayed 2 nights in a Lalapanzi chalet. We loved it, and had a great experience! The reserve is absolutely beautiful, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the rooms comfortable. Would highly recommend!

This reserve is a birdwatcher's delight! Upon arrival at reception, the staff were on standby to give us a warm and friendly welcome, fresh juices, and a lovely, scented hand towel wipe. We were directed to our campsite and handed a map of the reserve. The rest of our stay was delightful. The campsite amenities were spotlessly clean and well-serviced during our stay. Waking up to the call of so many different bird species was a special treat. We saw plenty of game species and found the roads easy to navigate in our 4x4 vehicle. There are also some nicely situated swimming pools, which serve as a late afternoon cool-off spot. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we look forward to returning sometime.

Great palce - we love Bonamanzi. Excellent service, that staff are so helpful and cheerfull all the time. The campsite and ablutions were spotless and very well kept. Great viewings of birds, buffalo, elephant and plains animals. We will be back!

Bonamanzi is a reserve with contrasting landscapes. Some of it has dense bush while parts are open savannah. It has many beautiful old indigenous trees which are very impressive. Antelope abound but large mammals were a bit scarce. ( Saw rhino and buffalo). The restaurant was very good with excellent service. Getting around the reserve was a bit tricky due to lack of adequate signage, All in all a great experience. Full value for money.

I had an increadible stay at Bonamanzi Game Reserve over the weekend. I certainly could have stayed longer. Being a birder, It was spectacular with many new birds seen. The camp area is neat and clean and the staff are friendly and always willing to help with a smile. The guides are increadibly knowlagable and assisted with finding what I was looking for. I will certainly be back.
