The family bath that you can use with coins the next day is really awesome.. You can also use the open-air hot spring, and after staying overnight, you can even use the private hot spring! The hot spring is so hot that I sweat a lot even if I just sit down for a little while, and even though it was cold because it rained, my body was so warm after taking the hot spring that I didn't feel the cold. The accommodation itself is hard to get to without a car, but the view is amazing. And the price is very reasonable, so if I visit Hita again, I'll want to visit this accommodation again!

It's the best ryokan.
Personally, I liked it better than Yufuin, and there were good yakiniku and soba restaurants nearby.
The location is a bit out of the way, so you can take a taxi, but the hot springs are still the best.
However, it's a 20-minute walk to a convenience store, so I recommend you do your shopping in advance.
