It's a bit far from Hita Station, but after a few days, the street is okay if you walk around. I could rent a bike (two beaches). However, the facilities are quite retro. It's the best accommodation. I also recommend the breakfast. The hostess kindly explained it to me using Google Translate. It's not inconvenient that the bathroom and washroom are outside the room. There are two washrooms, one for women only and one for public use. They have foam cleansing, body wash, shampoo, treatment, and even skin lotion, so you only need to bring a towel from the room. It's available 24 hours a day. They even kept my luggage until lunchtime the next day, so I was able to explore Mamedamachi Street comfortably. I think I'll come back again next time I come to Hita! It's one hour away from Fukuoka airport. It is a good choice if you have to leave early to get to the airport in the morning during the weekend without paying expensive hotel rates in Fukuoka. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was beyond our expectations. There is also a public bathroom for free, and there is a shopping place one minute's walk away.

In that sense, the location is optimal. Even if you stay in a room that doesn’t have a river view, you can take a walk around the river. There are many restaurants if you take a walk around the area, and it's easy to go to an izakaya in the evening. Advantage 2. hot spring public bath There is a toilet and bathtub in the room, but it is very small. I think washing it is impossible. It’s not a hassle to go to the large public bath and wash up. The hot springs in the large public bath are very nice. There are also minor drawbacks. Disadvantage 1. bathroom and toilet It is so old that it cannot be used as a bathroom. It's frustrating because the toilet is very small or the space is narrow. Disadvantage 2. Condition of the room For example, the mirror is attached to the wall in a dangerously deteriorated condition. I carefully passed the shaking mirror. There are not many accommodations in Hita, so the condition is not good for the price. But kind, friendly? It's the atmosphere!
