I spent four nights there while I attended the Austrian GP in Spielberg. The drive to Spielberg isn't bad, over a mountain with a gravel road. I was delighted with my stay. The family which owns and operates it is very friendly and they do everything. I was impressed by the industry of the family of the neighborhood--it was time to take in the hay and they worked tirelessly to get it in before the rain. The attention to the Gasthof is similar. It was spotless, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. The restaurant far exceeded my expectations. I had something different every night, and a grillparty on the weekend. Plenty of choices. Breakfast was included of course, and it was also tremendous. I can't say enough good things about it.

My family and I have been visiting the Gasthof Spengerwirt for many years and absolutely love the wonderful hospitality of this authentic family run hotel that is set in the most beautiful Austrian countryside. The food is traditional, plentiful and delicious and the rooms provide for comfortable and clean accommodation. This is the perfect base to explore the Styria region. We shall return!

Wir verbrachten 5 schöne, erholsame Tage im familiengeführten netten Gasthof/Hotel mit einem Frühstücksbuffet das keine Wünsche offenlässt (frisches Gebäck, selbstgemachte Mehlspeisen, …), sehr freundliche, zuvorkommende Gastgeber, gepflegtes, großzügiges, helles Zimmer 203 mit Balkon. Der Wellnessbereich mit Sauna, Infrarotkabine und Fitnessraum lädt zum Entspannen ein. Unsere E-Bikes konnten wir im Schistall einstellen. Gut beschilderte Radtouren und Wanderungen sind in nächster Nähe möglich. Anschließend an den Spengerwirt befindet sich ein Lama.- und Ponyhof wo man auch Lamatouren buchen kann (von der wir sehr begeistert waren). Ausflüge zum Piber-Gestüt und Schloss, Köflach (Ort, Therme), Bärnbach (Hundertwasserkirche, Schloss Greißenegg) Packer Stausee, … sind einen Besuch wert.

Ein Familenbetrieb in vierter Generation! Herzlich , freundlich, professionell mit fairen Preisen. Wir waren mit der Familie im Kurzurlaub und sind alle sehr begeistert- eine phänomenale Landschaft verbunden mit einem tollen Hotel. Die Eigentümer haben keine Überstunde gescheut und alle Gäste bis spät in den Abend bedient, weil viele Gäste erst sehr spät vom Formel Eins Rennen kamen. Großes Danke 🙏 macht weiter so- 👍 wir freuen uns auf nächstes Jahr. Liebe Grüße Familie Neumann

Zuvorkommende Wirtsleute, saubere Zimmer, ruhige Lage, Frühstücksbuffet, auf Wunsch Spiegelei, weiches Ei oder Speck mit Ei, Abendessen geschmacklich sehr gut, Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung z. B. Gestüt Piber, Sommerrodelbahn, Therme. Spazier- und Wandermöglichkeit. Preis/Leistung top! Wir planen, wiederzukommen. Margit und Helmut

Seit vielen Jahren sind wir im Winter sehr zufriedene Stammgäste beim Spengerwirt der Familie Offner/Maggale. Wir können dieses Haus nur bestens empfehlen. Für uns passt der Aufenthalt im Appartement wirklich gut. Es ist alles sehr geräumig, gemütlich, sauber und ordentlich. Beim Frühstücksbuffet findet man alles, was man für einen guten Start in den Tag benötigt. Nach dem Schilaufen am Salzstiegl freuen wir uns täglich auf das schmackhafte Essen im Gasthaus Spengerwirt und auf den Besuch in der hauseigenen Sauna mit angeschlossenem Fitnessraum. Kurzum, in diesem Haus gibt es alles, was wir uns für einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub vorstellen.

Mein Mann und ich waren vom 17.1.2025 bis am 22.1.2025 beim Gasthof Spengerwirt.Es war sehr schön hier ,sehr erholsam .,das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt.Wir haben uns beide sehr wohl gefühlt!🫶🏼In Hirschegg kann man wunderbar wandern ..,und die Seele baumeln lassen!
