Felt welcomed by the hotel staff, shared rooms have properly divided beds. Fully equiped with basic amenities such as shampoo, body gel, towels, lockers... The lounge was full of books to read (tourism books, novels, manga...) and is tastefully decorated. Family-friendly place. Close to the local train line that travels to Miyajimaguchi harbour (Ferry to the island) in barely 6 minutes. Great experience overall.

Nice hotel close to Miyajimaguchi Train Station ( 3 minutes walking) and Miyajima Ferry station (1-minute walking :-D ). The room was nothing special, but good for staying there for two nights and discovering Miyajima, Hiroshima, and Kure. Breakfast was very good, including local dishes.

Good points: 1. Location is amazing since it’s right on the island and everything is within walking distance. 2. We had breakfast and supper included in the stay. Food was varied and plentiful for most palates. Plenty of fruit and veg too. 3. Staff for 98% of the time was great. Language barriers are expected. Google translate is a perfect alternative to the translation issue. The front desk staff were awesome and was extremely helpful. 4. Room is spacious for a traditional Japanese hotel. We had our own onsen which was delightful. The beds were mostly comfortable and we had two full mattresses pushed together creating a massive king! 5. Once you enter the hotel you must take off your shoes and the hotel provides house slippers which generally fit most people. The lobby has shoe cubbies for your shoes. They do not lock, but Japan has very little petty theft so you don’t need to fret over potential thievery. Negative points: 1. This is of no fault of the hotel, rather it’s a Google maps problem. Be aware Google maps will basically have you climb the mountain and drag your suitcase through a dirt path. Instead put in the Miyajima post office and with the water to your right, turn up to the small road with the post office to your back. Keep going straight for about 2.5 city blocks and you’ll walk right into the hotel. Much easier than the 40 minute hike we took. 2. Restaurant staff on the whole were great. Only issue was this morning when we went to breakfast this morning and tried to sit in our usual table, the staff tried to sit us with some other people. I asked if we could sit at a different table and the individual said no and walked away. We didn’t know these people they tried to sit us with. However, they were tourists like us. I was frustrated because the staff member just walked away from us when I was still speaking to him. Very rude! 3. The toilet room smelled really bad. It was a combination of mold and chemicals.

I went for the purpose of Hiroshima ware and Miyajima torii gate after construction. The facility was new and the parking lot was large, especially the open-air bath was large, and the scenery was very good. The deluxe room was large and I was able to spend a relaxing time. Since the mother is famous for business hotels, the outlet for charging smartphones and the WIFI environment are also solid. The employees were also pleasant. Children and husbands enjoyed the shampoo bar in the bathroom. The service of beer and ice cream after the bath is good, but there are too many people there, and I feel like a luxury facility. . . but. Later, there were few side dishes for dinner Vikings, and it was blurred that my husband had nothing to eat. The sake was also a free drink, but the husband didn't seem to be satisfied because he couldn't drink. I wish I had a Hiroshima specialty oyster dish. I was satisfied with the breakfast with many rice, but I got tired of it because there was tempura for both dinner and breakfast. I think I was satisfied if I ate dinner with Miyajima souvenirs and stayed only for breakfast. Although it is a reservation system, it was a hotel that was working hard to pick up and drop off to Miyajima by a boat like a houseboat and free drink.

The room was larger, nicer, and cheaper than the 4 star places I stayed at in Kyoto and Tokyo. The view from the room I had was great - high up and facing peace memorial park. The park itself was only a few minutes walk away, and the hotel was nearby many shops and transport. Really great budget choice.

The breakfast is very good, with a wide variety of options, including live-fried steaks and Hiroshima specialty conger eels. Sometimes it is soft and tender steamed conger eels; sometimes it is crispy conger eel tempura. You can enjoy it as soon as you open your eyes! Most of the hotel guests are European and American tourists. Although the restaurant is crowded, it is not noisy. The gym is free to use, but you need to go to the front desk to get a door card. Compared with the spacious gyms in domestic hotels, the gyms in Japanese hotels are mostly too compact, and the equipment is almost seamlessly connected. Although there are IHG InterContinental Hotel member logos everywhere in the hotel, no matter what star rating, there is no trea**ent here, neither room upgrades nor executive lounge access.

If you stay at a business hotel with three families, there are many places to add extra beds to the twin room, but this hotel has an adjacent twin room and a double room in the room connectivity There was a connecting room connected by the gingdoor, so it was very comfortable to stay with family 3 people. The bathroom used a large twin room and the toilet used both. Breakfast buffet was not luxurious, but it was a good content for the price. The hotel parking lot is on the 4th floor ~ 8th floor of EKI City Hiroshima opposite the hotel. Going to 1F by B elevator from the parking lot and going out in front of the hotel. Parking fee is 1,200 yen per night and will be paid at the hotel front desk at check-in. It is not a luxurious hotel, but it is located in a good location to access the station, there is also a parking lot, and the accommodation fee and breakfast fee were cheap, and it was able to stay in a clean and relaxing room. I thought it was a very good hotel considering the cost performance.

CcatjamiesonWe moved to this hostel after an awful stay for the same price on the other side of town. I haven’t got a bad word to say about akicafe apart from that the coffee shop downstairs closes on Tuesday and Wednesday (the two days we stayed!) we eventually got to sample the coffee on the day of check out and it was the best coffee I have had in Japan. The dorms are so well designed in a capsule format with lights, plugs, a fan and lockers all built into your own bunk. It’s so private and you can’t hear anyone else once your in with the curtain shut. The toilet and shower facilities are spotless with all toiletries provided. The station is so close it makes a great base for day trips. All in all a fabulous hostel I would stay here again.

GGuest UserConvenient.. just next to JR station. Walkable distance, within 3 mins. Perfect location if you are bringing a huge suitcase with you. GGuest UserIt is a modern hotel with a rebranded feeling. The interior is also renovated beautifully, but I was also worried that it was sacrificed by several concept priorities. The front desk is on the top floor, but there are few elevators, so people who go to the front desk and people who go to the room are always waiting. There is no front desk staff in the midnight zone, and when I checked out at AM5 to catch an early morning flight, there is no key recovery box that I heard that it was installed in 1F, and it is wasted to the front desk on the top floor and back in the back I was excused by the sleeping staff who would have been sleeping, and I couldn't feel it from the morning. 1F is a fashionable Italian restaurant, and there are many uses other than hotel users, but there is no accommodation privilege, and there are a large number of insects in the plant near the open table outside.

GGuest UserFantastic hotel, opened just 9 months ago, still smells new. Located 10 minute bus trip from Hiroshima station and 15 minute walk from the peace museum/park. Stayed in beautiful one bedroom suite on 21st floor (second highest). Great view of the city through panoramic windows. Staff very friendly, engaging in small talk, specially when they see you are wait for example at the reception. Great breakfast choice, egg station. You can order to table some extra drinks like mango juice and waffles. Executive lounge located on 22nd floor, also great views. Lounge looking nice, with tables quite cramped. As far as food is concerned, I think one of the best Hilton lounges I recall. Choice of number of small sandwiches, cheese, cold meats, salads, beef stew, sweets etc. Swimming pool, dry sauna and large jacuzzi available.

GGuest UserPROS: Unbeatable central location in Hiroshima with large, clean rooms and great views of the city. The rooms were reasonably priced. CONS: This hotel is extremely dated and ultimately this impacted on the comfort of our stay - neither of us slept well on any night due to very old bed/pillows. They were also strict about their 15.00 check in time (seemingly regardless of whether our room was ready or not). This led to unnecessary queues from 15.00 onwards. Overall, would book elsewhere if staying again for more than 1 night in Hiroshima.

カズヤtripThere are Hiroshima Okonomiyaki restaurants near the hotel, and the Atomic Bomb Dome area is less than a 20-minute walk away, and the tram station is also nearby, making it great for walking around town. The bed making in the room was clean, and the bed was neither too hard nor too soft, which is subjective, but it was a well-balanced bed. It was a little disappointing that paper waste was left in the bathroom. The hotel reception staff are generally young. When I entered the entrance, the three front desk staff remained seated. The service was very casual, and there was no Wi-Fi information, but I discovered it by turning on the TV. There was also a return box for the room card, so it didn't take long to check in. Breakfast bread and coffee were prepared at the 1st floor entrance, and I liked that the bread was packed in three bags. (Photos 1 and 2) thank you very much.

HHunterNeilI'd say the nicest hotel I've stayed in during my two weeks in Japan. The hotel is a 10min walk from the station. Rooms are comfortable and have enough room for luggage. On my last night I wanted to take advantage of the onsen. Two of the younger members of staff were hesitant to allow me access. They brought to my attention the on-site rules which highlight that it would be unsuitable for people with tattoos (I have several large visible ones) to use the onsen. I do not remember this being highlighted on the trip.com website, otherwise I would not have booked. However another female member of staff (presumably the manager) intervened and stated because I was from overseas it should not be a problem. I really did enjoy my time using the spring baths. ¥150 well spent. Thanks again to her 😊

BBridge the GapAlthough walking distance to the train station and attached shopping arcade, the hotel is in a business park area and not very convenient for the tourist sites in town The rooms are small and a little dingy - the hotel itself is a bit older and needs a sprucing up. Breakfast is served downstairs and the food is mediocre at best - I definitely wouldn't pay for it again. There isn't much around the hotel - I walked around on my way back at night, looking for someplace to get a bite to eat or a a drink and couldn't find anything (a few blocks away was a terrible place that had a lot of unmarked fees and charges). If I were to do it all over, I definitely would choose a different hotel in a different area. (Please note: the hotel did nothing wrong, per se, and the staff was very nice! It just wasn’t the right place for me, for purpose of this trip.)

SSarah H.Location ok, near the tramway, but not the nicest street. The room is very hot, uncomfortable and tiny. And it’s not exactly 2 beds. There’s one double bed and then there’s a very high and uncomfortable stepladder to reach a mattress that is very close to the ceiling. The staff doesn’t speak any English and we had to use Google translation with everyone. We were given the wrong room at first and waited 40 minutes to check-in. The woman didn’t know we had already paid for the room. Then the next day, we asked to leave our luggage before taking the train which they agreed to. And when we returned to gather them, they said they would charge us for this service as we were away for more than an hour. The staff wasn’t very cooperative or nice and wouldn’t let us leave. There is no sign or explanation anywhere about the fact that leaving your luggage is not free. It’s not written anywhere.
