The so-called Japanese-style ”Grand Hotel” with a wedding hall and conference room. The single room is a business specification. The point is that a drip pod is installed in the room. You can drink drip coffee easily, so it's a nice facility. It's about a 5-minute walk to the Shinkansen exit of Hiroshima Station. It's a relatively convenient location, but when it comes to the center of Hiroshima, it's around Kamiyacho from Hachichobori, so I think it's a good choice for motorcycles. The motorcycle can be parked in a covered space between the car and the entrance.

Convenient near the station After arriving first thing in the morning, I was able to leave my luggage and travel light. The public bath was a bit hot so I couldn't stay long. It was a pity that there were only two laundry machines and one was out of order The breakfast is perfect for this price, and the staff's response was very good. I'm still worried about the sound, but it's quieter than a normal capsule hotel. Another minus is that there are only two shared toilets and baths. I wrote a lot about it, but it is a hotel that I can recommend and want to use next time.

I spent a night here while backpacking around Japan with a JR Rail Pass. The place was easy to find with my phone guiding me. Maybe a little far from Hiroshima station to roll a suitcase with wheels over noisy road surfaces at night, but not bad for those travelling lightly. It's also not far from the local sports stadium. First floor of this hostel is a sports bar/restaurant. The hostel entrance is off to the left side of the building front. One of the staff from the bar will come to a window to get you checked in. Once checked in you will have in/out privileges with a passcode. The second floor is a living room type common area. There are couches, desks, manga to read, a guitar to play with and sightseeing info available here. Also stairs leading down to the sports bar and you can hear the patrons down there clearly. Once the bar closes for the night, this common room is also closed to hostel guests. The rest of the floors are sleeping and restroom areas. Unlike a typical capsule hotel this one looks handmade with wooden capsule and ladders. It was actually more comfortable than other capsules I stayed in on this trip. The futon mattress felt fluffier than normal. There was a privacy curtain but there was no way to seal and lock it as in many other capsule hotels. The price was extremely reasonable and I will probably stay here again on a future trip to Hiroshima.

A mysterious hotel like a central blowout, between a condominium and a business hotel. Not Wi-Fi as you comment. Others have large liquid crystal televisions, dryers, room coolers, and the minimum necessary is available. The window was not a net door, and the insect was scared and hesitated to open. Breakfast is not many items, especially Hiroshima specialty, but it is usually delicious.

The Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel delivers from beginning to end regarding service and location. I had the chance to stay one night in early June before heading next morning to Okunoshima, and it was highly worth it. Next to Hiroshima Station, this location is a must. In addition, the quality of service provided by each member, either at the front desk or Club Lounge, was excellent. Daisuke in the Club Lounge was helpful and went above and beyond to assist during my stay. Regarding the room, I highly recommend booking a Club Level room or suite. The panoramic views of Hiroshima are amazing, but the room is exceptionally comfortable. I had the chance to stay in a suite, approximately 750 sq. ft., which was quite comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was spacious, and the bathtub was worth it after a long day or walk in the city. I also recommend the spa facilities in the hotel. If you pay around 1,650 Yen, you can use the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and cold bath. This is a great activity to relax and disconnect from reality fully. I enjoyed my time there and would return if I had the chance. Overall, it was a great stay, and thankful for the generosity and excellent customer service provided by the team in this hotel.

The subway to hotel is convenient but no lift is a drawback. The hotel room is small but clean. The self laundry service is also user friendly (washing powder or detergent comes with the services). It’s a good option for short stay.

I'd say the nicest hotel I've stayed in during my two weeks in Japan. The hotel is a 10min walk from the station. Rooms are comfortable and have enough room for luggage. On my last night I wanted to take advantage of the onsen. Two of the younger members of staff were hesitant to allow me access. They brought to my attention the on-site rules which highlight that it would be unsuitable for people with tattoos (I have several large visible ones) to use the onsen. I do not remember this being highlighted on the trip.com website, otherwise I would not have booked. However another female member of staff (presumably the manager) intervened and stated because I was from overseas it should not be a problem. I really did enjoy my time using the spring baths. ¥150 well spent. Thanks again to her 😊

The Hilton Hiroshima is a brand new hotel and we really enjoyed the design, spaciousness, and the breakfast. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming, and has all the facilities of a 5 star hotel. The staffs speak fluent English so there no problem in communication. We had a spacious room with king bed, with also plenty of space for a round table. The bathroom was also very big and beautifully designed. The best part of our stay was definitely breakfast, and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying at this hotel. It was a luxury buffet breakfast with over 100 choices of food in Japanese and international styles, including hot food such as udon and soba which were cooked per your request. Parking at the hotel costs 2500 yen per night for guests staying at the hotel. There may be cheaper options nearby as there are a lot of parking in Hiroshima.

The breakfast is very good, with a wide variety of options, including live-fried steaks and Hiroshima specialty conger eels. Sometimes it is soft and tender steamed conger eels; sometimes it is crispy conger eel tempura. You can enjoy it as soon as you open your eyes! Most of the hotel guests are European and American tourists. Although the restaurant is crowded, it is not noisy. The gym is free to use, but you need to go to the front desk to get a door card. Compared with the spacious gyms in domestic hotels, the gyms in Japanese hotels are mostly too compact, and the equipment is almost seamlessly connected. Although there are IHG InterContinental Hotel member logos everywhere in the hotel, no matter what star rating, there is no trea**ent here, neither room upgrades nor executive lounge access.

Facilities I rated as 3 because: What was available was very good. Resturant was not operating for dinner. Bar was open for a very limited time. I think this might be a hang over from Covid and trouble getting staff like everywhere.

GGuest UserWe arrived in Hiroshima by train and this hotel is super close to the train station so it was super easy to get to and from here with literally a 5 minute walk. It looks like the area has been redeveloped a bit so there's a bunch of good restaurants around the hotel. There is also a tram stop right around the corner so even though it's location is a bit far from all the sightseeing in the city you can get there easily by just hopping on one of the cool streetcars. The room itself is on the small side but the bed was super comfy. Shared bathrooms and toilets were clean most of the time and pretty spacious too. The downstairs common room and kitchen is great, there's so many kitchen appliances and utensils to use which was great. There's a bunch of manga books and boardgames too for some entertainment. The room could do with a few hooks to hang up stuff on the wall. Since the room is really small and there's no space for anything other than the bed and the tiny table with a stool it'd be a great solution to add some sort of storage for things like coats and bags etc. Unfortunately the cafe was closed when we were there so haven't been able to try this.

GGuest UserThe location is really good being right beside Hiroshima Station which allows for easy exploration of the city. They allowed us to store our bags upon arrival and they moved them into our room while we were out sightseeing. Check in was quick and easy and they had a few extra toiletries available at the counter like a face wash, body lotion and milk lotion which were all nice. The room is a bit bigger than most hotel rooms we stayed in during our time in Japan with access to the bed from both sides. The room was well appointed and had a coffee/tea station, mini fridge, safe, closet, ironing board and quite the alarm clock. The bathroom was nice with a Japanese style toilet and a shower that could get very strong pressure. The bathroom could have used a better cleaning as there was hair from previous guests and the room could use with more thorough dusting as there was quite a bit around the edges like the headboard. The bed was comfy but the pillows were not and we felt our sleep was affected due to this. We were on a high floor and got a good view of the city. Our floor also had a vending and ice machine. The hotel has a number of onsite restaurants and a very nice lobby area. We didn't try any but would be tempted to try the sky restaurants or rooftop beer terrace if we stayed in Hiroshima longer. The rooftop beer terrace was the most tempting but it is only open during the summer months. After looking at previous reviews we felt the breakfast buffet was a bit pricey and skipped it. There is no shortage of good and cheaper options nearby the hotel.

GGuest UserIt is a modern hotel with a rebranded feeling. The interior is also renovated beautifully, but I was also worried that it was sacrificed by several concept priorities. The front desk is on the top floor, but there are few elevators, so people who go to the front desk and people who go to the room are always waiting. There is no front desk staff in the midnight zone, and when I checked out at AM5 to catch an early morning flight, there is no key recovery box that I heard that it was installed in 1F, and it is wasted to the front desk on the top floor and back in the back I was excused by the sleeping staff who would have been sleeping, and I couldn't feel it from the morning. 1F is a fashionable Italian restaurant, and there are many uses other than hotel users, but there is no accommodation privilege, and there are a large number of insects in the plant near the open table outside.

GGuest UserPROS: Unbeatable central location in Hiroshima with large, clean rooms and great views of the city. The rooms were reasonably priced. CONS: This hotel is extremely dated and ultimately this impacted on the comfort of our stay - neither of us slept well on any night due to very old bed/pillows. They were also strict about their 15.00 check in time (seemingly regardless of whether our room was ready or not). This led to unnecessary queues from 15.00 onwards. Overall, would book elsewhere if staying again for more than 1 night in Hiroshima.

GGuest UserA really nice modern hotel with clean and stylish rooms although rather compact. Breakfast had a nice selection of Japanese and Western options. The Riverside cafe was still closed following Covid however the hotel is a short walk to Hiroshima Train Station which has a wonderful food hall and there's a Family Mart down the street. Shukkeien Gardens is close by and worth a visit. Service and staff great. Will definitely stay here again.

カズヤtripThere are Hiroshima Okonomiyaki restaurants near the hotel, and the Atomic Bomb Dome area is less than a 20-minute walk away, and the tram station is also nearby, making it great for walking around town. The bed making in the room was clean, and the bed was neither too hard nor too soft, which is subjective, but it was a well-balanced bed. It was a little disappointing that paper waste was left in the bathroom. The hotel reception staff are generally young. When I entered the entrance, the three front desk staff remained seated. The service was very casual, and there was no Wi-Fi information, but I discovered it by turning on the TV. There was also a return box for the room card, so it didn't take long to check in. Breakfast bread and coffee were prepared at the 1st floor entrance, and I liked that the bread was packed in three bags. (Photos 1 and 2) thank you very much.

BBZimm08I stayed at this hotel for one night mainly based on price and location. The location was great, not far from the Peace Memorial and Peace Blvd. Price wise, it was cheaper then other hotels in the area. I checked in and the employees were very friendly and spoke a little English. I got free beverages and could not have been happier. The rooms were pretty spacious and very clean. I thought the bed was comfy as were the pillows. The bathroom was nice, no complaints with the room. The breakfast due to covid is no longer a buffet, instead they prepare trays for you. The food was good and plentiful. I had a great experience here and would stay here again if I find myself in Hiroshima.

AAnonymous UserThe price is really cheap, 10 minutes walk from Yokogawa Station. Downstairs is 711 for the whole family. Attractions are not afraid of trouble to walk for 10 minutes to the city center. The disadvantage is that there is no curtain in this room, the hotel does not have an elevator, in fact, it is a hotel converted into an apartment in Japan, and the water flow in the bath is so small. Check-in is basically self-service, stayed for 3 days, except to see the young lady who cleaned in the morning, did not see anyone at the front desk. If you save money, you can consider living, health is justified, and the residential areas next to it are quiet.
