Quick walk from the Shinkansen JR station to the hotel. Large mall with lots of restaurants also near by.
The staff were excellent, lacking a bit in English ability but very accommodating. Allowed me to sit in the computer room for several hours after checking out.
The room was a regular Japanese hotel room. Quite clean overall.
The bad: No wifi and the pillow was not comfortable at all.

The room was cramped and it was a bit difficult to spread out the luggage. The integrated bathroom toilet was almost impossible to turn around. It was next to the Shinkansen railway and the trains were a bit noisy. The good thing was that the room rate included breakfast and dinner.
