Since 44 years I visit this hotel yearly. Always hospitality and quality of every aspect imaginable has been excellent. The owners continuously upgrade roms; suites and the apartment, cleaning service, breakfast, snacks, drinks, cakes and evening dinner which is healthy, tasteful and simply gastronomic. An exceptional Alpine Austrian experience !

stayed here for a week in January with my fiance and friends. It's an ideal base for exploring the Mayrhofen ski area, just 50 m to the nearest lift. The hotel experience here was impeccable. Bergkristall is a family owned hotel. Every member of the family and staff we interacted with provided the highest level of service and a welcoming environment. Lovely facilities, the ski room and spa were perfect (though more prude Brits may struggle with Sauna etiquette). The rooms are modern and clean with typical alpine charm. Dinner is a 4 course affair each evening, all locally sourced ingredients, deliciously prepared. As a bonus, there's a salad course to start plus local cheese on offer, so perhaps more like a 6 course dinner! The hotel organised ski lift passes as part of our booking with them, which were left on our table for us at breakfast to collect. This hotel is a real hidden gem!
