What a fantastic place to stay visited on business. Would thoroughly recommend to all . Amanda on reception was amazing and a real credit to the establishment ,so Thankyou to her. Also just to mention the fabulous food on offer from the Gurkha restaurant . Service with smiles all round WELL DONE ALL THANKYOU.

Our wedding at this stunning countryside venue was truly magical, and much of that is thanks to the incredible manager. He’s not just a manager—he’s the heart and soul of the place and made everything flow perfectly. From the moment we arrived, he was on top of every detail. He wasn’t just coordinating the day; he was everywhere, making sure everything ran smoothly. Whether it was calming down a nervous bridesmaid, handling last-minute changes, or keeping everything on schedule, he managed it all with ease and professionalism. What really stood out was his warmth and enthusiasm. His energy and humor lit up the day, turning an already beautiful wedding into something unforgettable. He has this amazing ability to make every guest feel special, remembering names and little details that made everyone feel welcomed. The venue itself is gorgeous, with beautiful countryside views and fantastic food, but he elevated it all. His passion for his work and attention to detail made our day beyond perfect. I agree with recent reviews that say the venue is tired and in decline. Our stay was fine in that our rooms were clean. but very tired and sparse. Bed a bit hard for us, but sheets well laundered. Its the rest that was decidedly average. The buildings and rooms need serious upgrading. The food offer is generic Indian which was tasty enough but not for every night. Very fee people there and there was no separate bar lounge… just a tea room which was closed when we were there. It advertises its offer as a wedding venue. There are so many better options I would venture.

Had lunch here the other day. Place was empty, no atmosphere and no staff around initially. Couldnt be bothered to find anywhere else so sat down and ordered. I cant think of anything nice to say about the food, and I know what im talking about. Its not even reasonably priced, go there-see for yourself...

The hotel has so much potential, it’s just been left to rack and ruin. The grounds could be amazing, but can’t even be bothered to cut the grass. Rooms are tired, need a really good upgrade. Bed is very uncomfortable and mattresses need replacing , as do the pillows. Place is tired in general, needs modernising. Breakfast - not great, cheap ingredients. They have opened a new restaurant on site, we did not visit. All in all, very poor which is shame as location is fantastic and with right ownership and some investment has potential to be great.

Rooms are small, basic and very dated - everywhere is in need of major update and renovation - this is a beautiful building that has been allowed to decay which is such a shame - it could be a gem in Worcestershire if the owners showed it some love and attention.
