There is no better location compared to Mediapark. Hotel is not super modern (understatement) but price quality ratio is fine.

I am coming since many years to the Amrâth Hotel Media Park in Hilversum. It’s such a nice hotel, small and perfectly made for people who like a private but at the same time very professional hotel. The service is simply great and the team tries everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. After a long working day you can relax at the small bar or enjoying a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant. Try the weekly special menu…it’s always a great choice! Don’t miss the opportunity to have a drink at the terrace during summertime. I can fully recommend the hotel!

A terrible experience! I was given an apartment without my consent, a five minute walk from main building with no offer of help for my baggage and in pouring rain. Dark, damp room, wifi and phone not working, unfriendly staff. Never again. Amrath Lappershoek much better!

We love this hotel! The staff are warm and helpful, the facilities very clean and offer all the amenities required. Breakfast is not included in the price, but is a very nice breakfast. The selling point,of seriously considering booking in the Hilversum area, is the location. It's a 10 minute walk from the train station, and main train lines connecting all over the Netherlands. It's 10 minutes to the center of town, with some great cafes and restaurants, as well as shops. Further, there's a free parking lot at the hotel. All of these aspects, and a very reasonable rate, make this one of the best places to consider if traveling in the area, or wanting a home base to explore the Netherlands by train.

De kamer is ruim, voorzien van koffie/thee faciliteiten. Bedden zijn doorgezakt en erg zacht matras. De badkamer was ijskoud, geen verwarming aanwezig waardoor een toiletbezoek en douchen echt afzien is. Alles was goed schoon maar verouderd. Kleine douche met hoge instap. Kamers zijn erg gehorig. Hotel is ideaal gelegen voor een bezoek aan het mediapark of centrum. Ontbijt was goed, maar werd zeer slecht aangevuld. Voortdurend lege schalen, geen borden/bakjes... Op de badkamer staat een tekstbordje dat wanneer je handdoeken op het rekje hangen ze niet verschoond worden, alleen als ze op de grond liggen. Dit ivm milieu enz. Toch kregen wij elke dag schone handdoeken...

Zeer slechte lunch, pannenkoeken met spek: spek op bodem, daarop een schep van een zeer slecht deeg, niet gaar, een totale misser en bij ons alle drie, iemand in de keuken had vast nog nooit een pannenkoek gezien/ laat staan gebakken. Na het aanbod voor iets anders broodje kroket of zo, wat na een al eerdere wat matige ervaring werd afgeslagen, kregen wij een korting op de rekening, trouwens de latte macchiato was erg lekker, maar stap daarna op en zoek een ander lunch adres!

Goed hotel met goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding in een zeer rustige buurt. Erg prettig dat er (GRATIS) P-plaatsen op het eigen terrein aanwezig zijn. Onze kamer (in het oude gedeelte op de begane grond) was enigszins gedateerd, maar verder van alle gemakken voorzien. Nogal gehorig, krakende vloeren dat we vooral aan het begin van de nacht merkten toen de bovenburen bedpret hadden. Zeer vriendelijk, gastgericht personeel dat van ons dan ook 4★sterren en een vette plus krijgt. Op de avond van aankomst diner in het restaurant; zowel de pan geroosterde eendenborst als de zeebaars worden verrukkelijk. Prima ontbijtbuffet ook. Een wat bijzondere uitleg over het ontbreken van de eierdopjes... die waren er niet meer in verband met het Green Key keurmerk. Hoezo dan?! Eierdopjes van rvs en/of keramiek zijn toch best wel duurzaam en milieuvriendelijk. Tijdens ons volgende bezoek aan Hilversum komen wij graag weer logeren in het Amrâth Hotel Mediapark!
