It's an amazing place to Stay near thun lake Kind staff with Good service and clean room view to thun lake and mountain Exellent restaurant with Garden view. I recommend it for everyone. There's enough Parking and easy to reach But I recommend reach from Interlaken

Hotel seems to be at a lakefront- mistake. It is not. The hotel is a B&B or a 2/3 star property. The rooms are extremely basic, which is a pity, because the building and the new extension have a charm and could possibly be a better decorated place. The breakfast was a buffet very very weak, but have to admit their “Nutella” home made was very good. We thought the hotel was in Thun, but realised it was quite a drive away.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful view of the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful and supplied us with free passes for the buses in the area which meant we didn't have the hassle of driving and parking on our trips out. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection to choose from. We had a lovely room in the annex which was modern and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to return one day.

A disgrace...After having booked in October 2023 3 nights from 07/27/24, the hotel canceled our reservation on 07/21 at the last minute under the pretext of overbooking!!! No solution offered. We have to manage. Bravo Swiss professionalism and rigor....

The food was good, but unfortunately they are not as prepared for celiac disease as promised. We had registered in advance. The terrace is really nice. They waited for us because we arrived after 8pm due to a huge traffic jam. We were very grateful for that. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. However, we were offered rather strange gluten-free alternatives. Our rooms were in the building next door, which unfortunately had neither charm nor as nice a view as advertised in the pictures. The rooms were large and fine. Mold in the bathroom and really big spiders and beetles in the room, in the "arcade" and on the balconies spoiled our stay a bit. I found the reaction of the German receptionist particularly bad (only mentioned because other employees at the reception were very nice). He laughed at us and said we were just in nature. For almost 200 per person for an overnight stay and dinner, I would have expected at least an apology and a nicer reaction. It can't be that difficult. This reaction is ultimately what we will remember now and it made us feel really shabby.

The north-facing rooms are very spacious and quiet by Swiss standards. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is excellent. You can use a QR code to specify room cleaning for the following day.
