This hotel is a good bargain if you are looking for a place to sleep with few amenities. Staff was pleasant, parking and checking was easy. It's an older property but has everything you need. If you need a place to just sleep it works great. I would stay here again if visiting the area.

This place was absolutely terrible!!! We came in late one night and received our key. The smell of mold almost knocked me down! We didn't want to go in but it was late and we were very tired. We thought we would fight the smell and leave in the morning. Next day we tried to shower. Nothing but hot, scalding hot water! no matter how you turned the knob in tub or sink, which I believe is breaking a county ordinance for hotels. This maybe a good place to stay for October 31.

Very bad place to stay. Took three pics for your viewing. Don't know what that stain on the box-spring was nor do I care to know at this point. Gross! Room was cold, dirty, holes in the wall and baseboards.

Incredibly poor. Booked this room in advance due to location, price and reviews. On arrival there was no one there, door locked and a number on the desk to say someone would be back in 30 minutes. We had just driven over 200 miles driving along the blue ridge parkway and freeway to arrive to this message at around 17:30 hours. Called the number and the voice on the other end told us it would be another 20 to 30 minutes before he could get there. We walked outside and another couple sitting in their car approached us and told us the same person had told them over the phone he would be 15 minutes and the had been waiting over 20 minutes. Shockingly poor way to run a motel or hotel. I got a call around half hour later as I was booking into another hotel, which ironically was cheaper and there was a staff member present. You’re taking a chance with this one. Your choice.. I’d never book it again. Awful service, actually no service at all.

Once upon a time this was a nice place taken care by the right people but today it’s run down and falling apart with black mildew behind the bathtub,curtains falling apart,sticky desk tops and last but not least a rather unfriendly management even debating the issue of a proper receipt for payment

Had one issue with a room quickly and easily got switched to a new one with out hassle rooms were comfy clean and quiet, owners and other guests were friendly and very helpful, the beds Ana pillows were very soft

Spent one night, clean room, comfy bed, AC worked. Mom and pop place, not the Ritz, The one down side was the shower was really poor. Please understand this is a dated room, in an older building , don't compare it to a Hampton inn.

Not happy. We were going out to dinner and while l was waiting on my wife to get ready, l sprayed colougne on and waited. Then the guy cam to fix the tv picture. Our remote was broke. Then l get told they need to rin my card again due to a crash of their system. Upon providing my card again l got a lecutre about not having ANYTHING in rhe room thet smelled.We were NOT SMOKING OR VAPING IN OR NEAR ROOM! And since when getting ready to go out a chargeable rule breaking? We just used body spray!! There was NOTHING ON ANY of the paperwork except for smoking and vaping! If you stay and like to smell good stay elsewhere or get charged for smelling good. Not going to stay here again. We sjould have just went on to Galex, Va.
