We had an outstanding nice vacation at this gem resort on the beach of Hillsboro Beach, Florida. We stayed in one of the lovely villas and enjoyed the relaxing, quiet environment. We could swim either in the ocean or private pool or relaxed in the sun under shady palmtrees at the private beach. The Intracoastal Waterway on the opposite side gave us the opportunity to lay under the tiki-hat and watch the sometimes seemless boat traffic. A professional 9 hole putting green and a shuffleboard gave us something else to do for extra fun. I am sure we will be back soon!!

I must say up front, that I have been going to the Royal Flamingo Villas for over 30 years. When someone asks me about them, I always say the same thing. It is fantastic for a family vacation. I would like to address a couple of things about the villas. First of all, if you had a problem with Janis or any of the office staff, please look in the mirror. They are fantastic friendly people. They were 30 years ago and are still today. The one thing that has changed is the owners. I have now been going long enough to to go through two generations. It is the younger generation that decided not to refund the previous customers money. At one time, that would not have been an issue. When it comes to the business side of things, everything has changed. The decisions made today are from people that could not afford to own one of the villas if one became available. They should be thankful that their parents or grandparents made the investment when they did. They have changed the atmosphere of the Royal Flamingo Villas, and not to the better.

I have a pregnant wife and after hearing of the Meningococcal Disease Outbreak we were concern about the safety of the whole family. Couldn't get any refund our half of the deposit of the stay. Customer service is very disappointed.

These Villas are simple and functional but directly on a quiet, beautiful beach and close to stores and restaurants. Feels like a Caribbean location! The Villa we had was 2br, 2 bath with an outside seating area. Appliances and cabinets could have used some updating but everything worked. Clean, comfortable and the view and beach access are the best. Nice pool- not really for lap swimming but doable in a pinch.
