"With a late-night flight, I booked an airport hotel. From Terminal 3, you need to take the airport's internal shuttle train, but it's easy to find by following the signs. Self check-in is available via machine; just enter your booking reference. The room came with a 1.5-meter double bed and a small sofa bed. Cleanliness was just passable. There was hair from a previous guest in the bathtub, and the pillow had some small stains. There was enough room to open two 28-inch suitcases. Its main draw, however, is its affordability and convenient location."
"I stayed at the Best Western Ariel for one night before an early morning flight from Heathrow, and it was a solid choice for convenience. The location is great — only a few minutes from Terminals 2 and 3, and there's a shuttle bus that runs regularly. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful, even with my late arrival.
The room was compact but clean, with everything I needed for a short stay — comfy bed, decent shower, and a kettle with tea and coffee. It’s not a luxury hotel by any means, but it served its purpose well. The soundproofing was surprisingly good considering the proximity to the airport — I barely heard any planes.
Only downside was the breakfast — it felt a bit basic for the price. Also, the decor is a bit dated, but again, for a one-night airport stopover, it’s totally fine.
Would stay again if I need to be close to Heathrow!"
"The room was very clean, and it was the perfect choice for a layover as we had a flight the next day. A bus stop conveniently located right outside takes you directly to Terminal 5, with buses departing once an hour. We caught the 11:38 AM bus. The hotel's soundproofing is excellent; despite its proximity to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet."
"Spacious bedroom & very clean & well-maintained bathroom. I’m staying in premium inn plus for the 1st & last day of my UK trip. Very satisfied & very easy to take bus 105&111 to T2, without the need to use airport shuttle (cost 6-7 pounds) and bus fee with credit card is only 2.5 pounds. Great service at Thyme too & reception at restaurant is excellent!"
"Convenient Location Near the Airport, but Check-In Process Needs Improvement
The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, with just about a 10-minute bus ride to Heathrow. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. However, the check-in process was quite slow, taking nearly half an hour to complete. This inefficiency was frustrating and detracted from an otherwise positive experience. Improving the check-in efficiency would greatly enhance the overall guest experience."
"What a great place to stay, bright clean room. Good price with excellent buffet breakfast. . Staff are very helpful and nice.. can buy snack and the meal is reasonable price. Clean moden style hotel. Sky bar and bowling near by. Excellent entertainment before go to airport. So convenient to go to airport, just few minutes away from bus stop. Easy to go to london town centre as well."
"I had an unpleasant encounter with a thin, elderly white lady working in the downstairs restaurant. She was very unfriendly. When I accidentally picked up the wrong cup to get water, she aggressively scolded me and demanded I leave immediately. This made me feel utterly disrespected and left me incredibly angry and speechless. Other than this incident, everything else was acceptable."
"Check in service was excellent. Location, couldn’t ask for anything better.
Breakfast included was poor. Kitchen area had only one small table. Also, only a few cups, which were currently being used by another family so had to wait 30 mins to service ourselves only bread and peanut butter.
Fridge completely empty. 😢"
"Nice hotel with decent sized rooms. There was a wedding party one when we arrived and there was loud music playing until 00:00 - which isn’t great when we wanted to sleep after a long flight.
Hotel is quite close to the airport, but still need to take a bus (taxi was £30 for a 5min drive which is a bit extreme).
Would consider staying again if there’s no wedding party happening."

Great
GGuest UserEverything was great, can't really access to the gym room, the kettle was not clean to boil the hot water. staff was friendly and service was good! Breakfast can be more choices. Overall experience perfect!
ZzhujIt is a typical 4+ level hotel, modest decoration but does not look old fashion yet. Spacious, clean, bright and tidy room. Everything like desk, TV, mirrors, and bathroom iis surprisingly big in Europe, at this price level. Even the shampoo and body wash are jumbo sized. Tap and shower glass door need some maintenance. Huge basin countertop, good to put everything on. Some adjacent rooms can be connected to create a family room. The staff are polite and friendly.
GGuest UserI absolutely loved this place. Seemed newly renovated and very well kept. Im a woman solo traveling and the man who runs the place/front desk made me feel very safe. The room was super cute, loved the rose theme throughout the hotel. Everything was very clean and modern. The TV had Netflix and I was so grateful! Most hotels don’t accommodate for Netflix and this one did! Breakfast was delicious with options for every diet! Loved the Rose Cafe, felt like I was in a movie. I will definitely be staying here again.
CCheefLack of basic toiletries like single use toothbrush set. Took 30 mins on the Hoppa bus from Terminal 3 to the hotel despite the apparent short direct distance from the airport, the hotel is practically the last stop on the route. Ok for overnight stay on a stopover.
NNJJ85Great location, bus stop right outside for quick and efficient buses to and from airport. Friendly staff. Quick check in and check out. Nice bar for a few drinks and food and also a great gym. Would definitely stay again.
GGuest UserThis is the second time I’ve stayed at the Radisson Red in the past month due to flying from Heathrow. It is also the second time that checking in was chaotic, with the self check in computers not working and this not being resolved with increased or quicker staff. Moreover, the staff have a habit of not making eye contact with you, not acknowledging you, not really managing the chaos or reassuring properly. In the end, I waited in a queue for around half an hour to check in. People are naturally tired when they get to an airport hotel- the staff need to show some awareness of that. Then in the morning, I asked when the next shuttle to heathrow was and was informed, 2 minutes. I waited for 25 minutes and no bus. I went back to reception to ask what was going on and was told ‘it’s heathrow that run the bus, not us.’ It was yet more unhelpful at tidied and an unwillingness to be at all accountable.
GGuest UserDespite small the services were very good and nice. The hardware was very clean the only drawback was small. Very convenient if one has early flight the next day
GGuest UserHotel was a little old fashioned in the build, Service was good.
The Aviation bar with a view was fantastic, The price of drinks wasn't. £7.40 for a larger that costs me £3.90 in my local.
Hotel room was clean & very presentable but old fashioned.
Parking was expensive @ £18 a night.
HHesham AbdelkaderClean room , could do better in cleaning especially the floor mat , but ok for the price , 8 mins by car to Terminal 2 , private parking
