"Great little hotel with lots of character. The double room was small but clean and bed was comfy. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room also and easy to use heater/aircon unit. Modern bathroom with shower. The furniture is looking tired and could do with updating. Can’t comment on breakfast as I didn’t have it but overall for a one night stay to attend a party in the area, it was great 👍"
"Spacious bedroom & very clean & well-maintained bathroom. I’m staying in premium inn plus for the 1st & last day of my UK trip. Very satisfied & very easy to take bus 105&111 to T2, without the need to use airport shuttle (cost 6-7 pounds) and bus fee with credit card is only 2.5 pounds. Great service at Thyme too & reception at restaurant is excellent!"
"The hotel is conveniently located walking distance through a covered walkway from Terminal 4. Access to Terminal 5 is also easily accessible via a free train service. The reception staff were very helpful. The room is comfortable and cosy."

"Booked for my parents who would be exhausted after their 10.5-hour flight. I was approached via WhatsApp by their front desk and it turned out that my special request was kindly honoured. Parents were satisfied with the location (although they landed at T3 and took quite a while through the immigration) and the room and amenities were beyond expectation. Would definitely book again when necessary. Would be nice to have fried eggs for breakfast though."

"Well organised check-in system, contact less really. My only complaint would be the noise coming from the people upstairs, clomping around back and forth. Otherwise good location to Terminal 2, pretty straightforward "
"It should be said that it is the guest house of Brunel University. It is inside the school. You can eat in the student cafeteria. It is less than ten minutes away from the bus station. It is super convenient. Unfortunately, there is no room available when I want to book it again."
"We stayed here for three days and had a wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—some of the nicest we’ve encountered. A major bonus is the hotel's location, right across from Uxbridge station, making it super convenient for travelers.
The rooms are just the right size. We had four suitcases and were able to open them comfortably inside the room. The hotel also has an elevator, which was a big plus, and they offer daily room cleaning upon request.
Another highlight was their flexibility—since we’re heading to Scotland, they kindly allowed us to store our luggage, which made our trip much easier. Highly recommend staying here!"

Great
JJessicaOur flight is cancelled in the midnight so we had to stay near the airport for an extra day. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly. Room is spacious and the breakfast is good. However unlike other IHG hotels, they do not provide bottled water, toothbrush and slippers complimentarily to customers, you have to bring your own.
SSTELLAFirst of all, credit go to a lady working in bar Ms. Deepti who is nice and helpful. Room is clean and spacious. However, 3 things make me concern about the security and privacy of my room. 1. No door latch provided 2. At around 10am, someone knocked my door. When we answered the door, he/she ran away to the lift lobby quickly. 3. At around 11am, a lady wearing uniform, WITHOUT knocking, opened my door with her KEY CARD. When she saw my husband inside, just said sorry and left WITHOUT any explanation!
MmunirahThe hotel was clean and looked quite new. The bed was comfortable and well-maintained. The receptionist was helpful and provided useful information about the early bus and taxi schedules. The location was a bit farther than we expected—you’ll need to take a bus from the main terminal to get there. Thankfully, the staff at the bus terminal were very helpful and made the process easier.
GGuest UserReview of the Rosemay Hotel, London – 10/10
By Matthew Huxley Forrest
As a writer of fiction, non-fiction, screenplays, series, and documentaries—and someone named Huxley after Aldous himself, a friend and counterpart to George Orwell—it was nothing short of synchronicity to find myself staying in Orwell’s very own room.
The Rosemay Hotel is not just a boutique escape—it is a living, breathing act of reverence. From the moment I arrived, I felt immersed in detail, not decoration. The chandelier reflected perfectly in the mosaic beneath it. Real plants framed like art. The Orwell Library by reception offered a nod to legacy, not a shrine.
To sleep in Orwell’s former room, as Matthew ”Huxley” Forrest, was to experience a collision of timelines—where two philosophical lineages whispered across the decades. There was no fanfare, no museum velvet rope—just an unspoken truth carried through the wood, the light, and the quiet.
The family behind this space deserve enormous credit. Their design is masterful. Their spirit is gracious. The son—a sharp, soulful thinker—invited me into their world with the warmth of an old friend. The mother, a genius of flow and form, brings an invisible coherence to every corridor.
The Yorkshire roast they recommended might be the best I’ve had—and I say that as someone with Yorkshire blood.
Staying here was not a hotel experience. It was a chapter in a longer book. And I don’t say that lightly.
For those with ”eyes to see”, this is no ordinary accommodation. It is a place where synchronicity meets hospitality, and where thinkers—past and present—might just find their next idea between the walls.
This hotel doesn’t need to shout. It whispers, wisely.
AAnonymous UserStayed for 2 nights, the room was generally clean but the bathroom had some kind of rotten egg drainage smell. Luckily the odor didn’t impact the room when keeping the bathroom door closed. Good location with easy access to Heathrow Terminal 2&3.
CchristanneFriendly and efficient check in. Corridors and room very tired and in need of refurb. Badly stained carpet. Hot shower. Comfy bed but the usual synthetic pillows which I hate. Room incredibly hot even at lowest aircon. Tried to open windows but couldn’t. Good coffee in coffee shop. Really, really slow at checkout. Can’t fault location with hopper bus right outside front door. Picked this hotel over others as it was slightly cheaper for the required night. I’ll continue to shop around rather than prefer this hotel but it served its purpose for my stay.
TTan24The location is ideal to get to T5 Heathrow Terminal using the POD transport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite big and there seem to be lots of parties happening. The bar is a sports bar and you can enjoy drinks and food. The corridors are very long. The hotel furniture and interior are a bit outdated, but for a short stay it's ok.
GGuest UserI stayed at the Best Western Ariel for one night before an early morning flight from Heathrow, and it was a solid choice for convenience. The location is great — only a few minutes from Terminals 2 and 3, and there's a shuttle bus that runs regularly. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful, even with my late arrival.
The room was compact but clean, with everything I needed for a short stay — comfy bed, decent shower, and a kettle with tea and coffee. It’s not a luxury hotel by any means, but it served its purpose well. The soundproofing was surprisingly good considering the proximity to the airport — I barely heard any planes.
Only downside was the breakfast — it felt a bit basic for the price. Also, the decor is a bit dated, but again, for a one-night airport stopover, it’s totally fine.
Would stay again if I need to be close to Heathrow!
GGuest UserStayed for a night before flight.
Booked 3 rooms for family and each room was opposite ends of the hotel, you couldn't get much further apart! 2 rooms pretty standard one room felt like it hadn't been used in a long time, lots of little moths in the room and large dust particles in the air, the bathroom could do with some tlc as the wall covering in the bath was coming off and some holes in the tiles could be filled and the sealant on the bottom of the glass shower screen could do with replacing or cleaning and a light bulb needs changing.
It w a little disappointing as stayed 2 months earlier and room was nice and felt new had everything in the room including shoe cleaning kits and sewing kit
