The hotel was very easy to get to and we were greeted very warmly. The room is well equipped, there is even an ironing board. The minibar was stocked with everything, and there was also a coffee machine 😊
We were really impressed with the breakfast, everything you could wish for was there and more. I would choose this hotel again and again.

Hotel was similar to any €50 per night budget hotel..(but I paid €200+ per night) I had a number of small complaints when I was there. Massive keyring with key for room access, to avoid holding on to this massive keyring when going out I would leave it with with reception. This would mean sometimes a 5min+ wait to get it back on entry as there was only ever one person on reception. But good news (not) one day they changed the lock on the door to key card. But each day it would stop working requiring me to go back down to reception to get a new one 3 days in a row. No hint of an apology. Room small and 20+ years old. See other review pictures. ( Thought I was staying at my Grandma's). Bath/shower leaked on the floor. Room came with coffee maker (2 sachets of coffee) and complimentary water. These would only get replenished once in the week I stayed. Even after leaving the "make up room" sign out the whole time I was there. Futher would not get coffee cups or glasses changed. Dirty cups in my room all week. Breakfast, was ok. But I noticed staff wiping crumbs onto chairs with the fresh napkins that would be set out for the next guests. (Day after day). Multiple Futher annoyance like the above. Old tired hotel with staff that put in little effort probably because of bad management. I regret staying here. I should have slept rough.

Stayed for 2 nights at this 4 star hotel in the middle of Hilden close to the shopping street and about 15 min walk from the station. The lobby, restaurant/breakfast room was recently renovated because of a serious flooding a couple of years ago. They did a good job, the interior in this part of the hotel has been updated with a very contemporary feel to it. We booked a standard room, however the heating was not working properly and we got upgraded immediately which was very much appreciated. The rooms, looked a little bit dated, but were to my delight utterly spotless. The bathrooms especially the shower trays and doors were immaculate, although some water was leaking onto the bathroom floor when using the shower. The housekeeping department is doing a good job for sure. I was pleased to see soap dispensers installed rather than having all those little customary bottles with soap and gel, saving on plastic. Good forward environmental thinking. Because the floor covering was carpet rather than tiles or laminate I would have liked some of those hotel slippers that are customary in most hotels these days. Also as a 4 star I would expect an iron and board in the room for convenience. The breakfast offerings are the usual fare and I was pleased to see milk alternatives available. The breakfast room was quite busy and you could do with an extra member of staff looking after the buffet to replenish it in time. All in all I very much enjoyed my stay here. I think that the room rate charged is very fair and honest but thought that the prize for the breakfast per person maybe at 17 Euros is a bit steep. However, I wholeheartedly can recommend this hotel.

260 Euro per night for this room is completely outrageous. This is an extremely basic hotel, which I don't think deserves more than 2 stars. Price/quality is therefore completely skewed for this spartan room. In addition, curtains that cannot be closed completely if you do not clamp them by pushing a chair against them. There is a note on the door that tells you to turn off the heating, turn off the lights and close the window when you go outside; When I entered the room the heating and lights were indeed off but the window was open. Result: very cold, and it will take another year before any heat comes out of the radiator.

The entrance and the hotel bar are very attractive and modern. Unfortunately, the temperature there is unbearable. Currently in June 2023, the outside temperature here is 27°C and at least as much inside. The rooms are clean, but very old, and my room is also very small. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is no longer right here. I would therefore choose a different hotel for future business trips. The breakfast offered was fine, however.

The hotel belongs to the Best Western group and is now called Sure Hotel. It had apparently been closed for a while, so we thought it had been renovated. But this is only the case on the ground floor. The first room we stayed in faced the four-lane road, had inadequate curtains and no air conditioning. Sleeping with the window closed was too warm, and sleeping with the window open was much too loud. The bathroom had seen its best days after the last war. The sink had cracks like a spider's web on the drain, the shower tray was at least 20 cm deep and the shower had a shower curtain. The next day we were upgraded to a room with air conditioning. When we moved into this room we found an unmade bed. So we changed rooms again. In the last room there was an ancient air conditioning unit that was aimed directly at the bed. In addition, this air conditioning could not be regulated. The bathroom was old and dirty again. Parking now costs €8 per day. We will never come back.

Das Zimmer war sauber, aber leider alles etwas alt und verbraucht. Heizung im Bad hat nicht funktioniert und es war eiskalt. Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut, aber dass man am Sonntag, wegen dem öffentlichen Brunch, kurz nach 10 aus dem Frühstücksraum geschmissen wird, ist blöd.
