We visited Crystal Sands for the second time, and once again, it proved to be one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. The property was first introduced to us by Mr. Shammi from Housekeeping, and we’re so glad we discovered it. The location is excellent, the rooms are spotless, and the overall hospitality is outstanding. We originally booked for one night but were so impressed that we extended our stay for another. A special mention goes to Miss Dipani from the Front Office for her warm and professional service. The Housekeeping team deserves our heartfelt appreciation—Mr. Shammi went above and beyond by welcoming our son with beautiful decorations and balloons, which he absolutely loved. Hats off to the entire team, including Mr. Lakmal (Housekeeping Manager), Mr. Shammi, Mr. Prabath, and Mr. Saranga, for taking such good care of us. At the restaurant, we experienced the same level of care and friendliness. The staff were attentive, the service was excellent, and the food was simply delicious. Special thanks to Mr. Ravin (Food & Beverage Manager), Mr. Ajith, and Miss Dilki for making our dining experience so memorable. Overall, we had a truly wonderful stay filled with warmth, comfort, and exceptional service. Crystal Sands has become one of our favorite places, and we will definitely visit again.

We booked a two-night stay at this absolutely stunning hotel. After having checked-in to our suites, and enjoyed a beautiful time with kids at the infinity pool, getting ready for dinner- sadly, one of my children became quite unwell requiring urgent medical attention. We therefore decided to get back to our base in Colombo (where we had friends) on the same night. So we only got to enjoy the facilities, and the hotel for a few hours. The staff were incredibly understanding, and gave us a refund for one night despite not being obliged to. I also left some of my things in the suite given we were in a rush, and they not only recovered the items but also communicated with me via WhatsApp until such time I received my things. Special mention to: Ms. Deepani, Kaveen, and Yasiru. Luxury hotel, amazing staff, top-class suites with plunge pools, and overall a very lovely, and cosy setting! Stunning views from the suites, and the infinity pool! We will definitely be visiting this hotel again to take advantage of everything it has to offer if we were to ever go back to Sri Lanka. Notes: The hotel is not a large resort, so you will not find the front reception to be as grand as some of the more bigger names, but be rest assured that your experience fully starts at the room, and all the other facilities the hotel has to offer. P.S. The cold towels, and cinnamon drink offered at the reception was lovely, and refreshing.

Hasranga nimnejith and shalika was friendly while helping in room cleaning. Location is very good. Private pool and infinity pool at 10th floor, with good view.

We had a truly unforgettable experience at Crystal Sands while celebrating my wife’s birthday. We initially stayed in the Sands Suite, which was beautiful, and later upgraded to the Presidential Suite — an absolutely stunning choice that made our stay even more special. The hospitality and service throughout our visit were exceptional. I want to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff who made our stay so comfortable and memorable: Dilki, Yasiru, Arush, Mr. Lakmal Jayasena, and especially Mr. Shammi, whose support and attention to detail stood out. Highly recommend Crystal Sands for anyone looking for a luxurious and warm getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the spacious room with the sea-view private plunge pool (shame these aren’t heated for the evenings!) The gym is small but relatively well equipped and a nice touch. Staff are amazing Only downside is the location doesn’t have much going on, but a tuk tuk to central Hikkaduwa only takes 8-10 minutes - 20 minutes to Galle
