This hotel is conveniently located, practically next to the bus stop in both directions. The ocean is 100 meters away. But this is not a beach for swimming. To get to the sandy beach you need to walk about 500 meters.
The room is spacious. However, the furniture is only a bed, a chair and a table. The furniture is durable. The mattress is also good. There is a shower, a sink and a toilet. But there is nothing at all except toilet paper. At night I saw ants and a lizard in the shower room. All the rooms need repair.
The staff is friendly and helpful.

The room is really cramped, and the lady boss is not honest and trustworthy. You need to be more careful when dealing with them. The room is not expensive, about 6,000 rupees, just a fan, an open-air room, like sleeping on the roadside

I would not book this hotel a second time.
The renovation is very tired, the floors are dirty, the photo on the website is much better in reality. Sockets can only be used with an adapter.
The staff is friendly, but the guys start talking in the morning, which interferes with sleep.
The only pluses are the location and the fact that the room overlooked the ocean.

The location is great!!!
This was the main selection criterion. The beach at the hotel is “non-swimming”, but with a gorgeous view and located two steps away (to the right) a wonderful turtle beach without waves...).
Right in the center of Hikkaduwa, everything is nearby...cafes, shops.
The staff is friendly, always ready to help with any requests and always with a smile)))
