We were a group of friends going on our first post-covid vacation together. We were the first guests for the season & from the warmest welcome smile that we received, we knew that we were going to be treated well. The staff are absolutely amazing & was always at our service! The chef & team are ever ready to help us out. The chef had prepared some scrumptious mouth watering meals for us. They were also very concerned about the 2.5 year old with us & made sure that his food was prepared early. The villa itself was super gorgeous & breathtaking! The pool & the views were just amazing! There's plenty of lounging space for everyone. The place is well maintained and super clean & everything still looks brand new! We are eagerly looking forward to coming back! A huge Thank you to the staff and the management team for accommodating our requests. The pictures & the review posted here doesn't do justice, so you have to visit Villa46 and experience it ! ”We loved everything about this hotel! Clean and spacious room, friendly helpful staff, and a nice charming atmosphere with garden and the shady pool. Everything was kept nice , calm and clean. It’s lovely right opposite to the beach and kids enjoyed a lot. The food was absolutely delicious . specially the Sri Lankan lunch with rice and curry. We had really good time and enjoyed a lot.

Since our planned accommodation was out of the question at short notice, we found the Cozy Sea View Inn via ************ and had our tuk tuk driver drop us off there. We received a warm welcome and were able to choose one after viewing two rooms. We chose one on the ground floor with a small terrace. The room was very spacious, clean, well equipped and smelled very good. There was a fitness studio right next to our room, which can be used by hotel guests. We didn't take advantage of this, but we still thought it was a great opportunity. The manager Rajesh was very friendly and helpful. When he found out that we wanted to travel further to Unawatuna, he offered to take us with him since one of his drivers had to go that direction anyway. The location of the hotel, on a side street off the main street, was also ideal for us. The beach was within a few minutes' walk, as was a huge selection of restaurants and other shopping opportunities. We were really happy about our spontaneous stroke of luck and would love to come back.

What a place! We couldn’t be happier! Sri Lanka is just full of friendly people but the friendliest might just be the ones running this hotel. Besides the sweet staff (who threw a birthday-party and spoiled our 8 year old all day) the location of this hotel is obviously amazing. Beach, waves, surfing, snorkling, sunsets. We also loved the food and its variety. Barely went anywhere else to eat during our week in Hikkaduwa. The restaurant feels like a cozy beachlife livingroom. The room had all we wanted and needed, including good wifi. If we go back to Sri Lanka we will definitely go here again. Strongly recommend this place!

In July 2024, I spent several days in this hotel. In general, I liked everything, except for some moments. I'll start with the good: excellent location, opposite a supermarket, and nearby there are many shops and benches, a gorgeous view from the window of the ocean, decent breakfasts, a clean pool, the staff's willingness to help at any time, delicious dishes to order from the menu, well-groomed territory. What I didn’t like: the rooms are already tired, they need updating, I lived in room 513. The pool is open until 19.00, which is not at all convenient, because after dinner you also want activity... but there is none)
