I arrived before 7 o'clock in the evening, and no one greeted me until my chartered car driver looked for someone at the front desk for a while and then someone responded and was busy with other things. In addition, the air conditioner in the room was too noisy and the wind speed could not be adjusted. In the end, I had to turn off the air conditioner, but the sound of the waves was loud again, and I didn't sleep well the whole night.

The hotel, to put it mildly, is very tired, the elevator has not been working for a very long time, there is no cleaning in the room, you have to ask to change the towels, if you throw them on the floor this does not guarantee a replacement, they will pick you up, fold them and put them on the bed... During the season, breakfast is a buffet and they are not bad, but in the off-season the breakfasts are very meager... The coffee is simply disgusting, I have never encountered worse anywhere... But all the shortcomings of the hotel are offset by its location! The best beach, beautiful ocean! And you can simply close your eyes to all the shortcomings and enjoy your vacation! By the way, there are only 10 sun loungers in the hotel, keep in mind...

In July 2024, I spent several days in this hotel. In general, I liked everything, except for some moments. I'll start with the good: excellent location, opposite a supermarket, and nearby there are many shops and benches, a gorgeous view from the window of the ocean, decent breakfasts, a clean pool, the staff's willingness to help at any time, delicious dishes to order from the menu, well-groomed territory. What I didn’t like: the rooms are already tired, they need updating, I lived in room 513. The pool is open until 19.00, which is not at all convenient, because after dinner you also want activity... but there is none)

Invincible super perfect hotel, the most sincere hotel stayed in Sri Lanka itinerary is it! It should be about a year before the new opening. Environmental awareness (which is actually very important in Sri Lanka) is particularly touched, and the butler service is also great! The room will be equipped with a mobile phone and ipad to contact the butler, the butler is very enthusiastic but will not be overly disturbing! The food is delicious too! Full score! Rest in a room with ocean view on the second floor with 1st bed (such rooms are only 2a). Sit on the balcony and it seems to be on the beach at the water. And sleep under the noise of waves is perfect. Mosquitoes, geckons are, with open balcony room is not worth leaving . The air conditioner worked perfectly. Very hospitality people work in the hotel. If any questions were raised-resolved quickly. At the hotel restaurant (Breakfast is standard: juices , eggs in different forms, fruits, tea, bread, jam. But plenty and we had enough) On the 3rd floor, too, 2a room with sea view (2e bed) with a large open terrace, where the dawns met and stars. Part of the terrace with the shadow. Thank you to the hosts and all the staff at the hotel. We'll be in Hickadoo again, stay at you.
