Site is located just off of a traffic circle, this makes finding the site a little confusing. The room was 1 of 6 mini suites housed in one cabin with a fire place tables and chairs in common areas. We had no temperature control so we opened a window to combat the heat. Overall, it was a cozy spot for a weekend stay.

The Bear Mountain Inn exceeded expectations in that we simply swooned over the surroundings, waking up to the lake and taking a beautiful stroll from the stone cottages to the main Inn. We were very impressed with the Zoo, carousel, ice skating and the staff were incredibly friendly.
The only downsides to this trip were that our bathtub sink was full of hair, which was really off-putting and the food at the restaurant was so salty that we could hardly eat our meals (this is coming from someone who loves her salt).
I would stay here again because it is stunning and worth the price but I’d highly encourage a conversation with the cleaners and chefs, as I don’t think I would recommend again if the cleanliness and salty food continue to be an issue

I had a lovely stay at the Lodge at Bear Mtn Inn. The room was a nice size and the beds were very comfy.
I ate at the hotel restaurant twice and the food was very tasty, especially the salmon and the desserts.
The staff was top-notch, but a few deserve special mention.
Gabriel was very helpful throughout my stay, he even helped with booking as I had some special requests.
Sherri at the restaurant is an excellent server, but I was so impressed by how patiently she dealt with some very rude diners.
Ariana in reception at the lodge was super friendly, and also helped me out with a special request for the room after housekeeping had gone home for the day.
Malcolm and Erin, at the Inn, always greeted with a smile and very helpful.

Upon driving up to the lodge after check in, I noticed a size able water damaged area on the ceiling in the hallway. The smell was horrible. Lucky it was 40 yards from my room.
I called and spoke with the front desk who advised they would send someone up. Doesn’t look like anyone came up to see my concern.

Peaceful and tranquil great for q quick getaway from the hustle n bustle n just relax by fire with wine, or stay in your room. Staff was polite and accomodating. Last but not least, great spa treatment for massage how could i 4get.
