This was our first stop on a 1500 km journey with a 10 month old. Customer service at the desk was very friendly. I had accidentally booked for the week ahead but was able to get that changed very easily because I booked direct. The room was very clean and spaceous. I felt comfortable enough to have my crawling baby play on the carpet and tiles. Everything felt fresh and clean. Would definitely recommend staying at this place if you were planning on staying around Toowoomba area.

We stayed here one night during the carnival of flowers and it suited us well for the night. Highfields is not far north of Toowoomba and this motel seems quite new and modern. Our small budget room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely shower (good heat and pressure). Good location to some great country cafes and craft shops (The Village Green is lovely across the road and worth a visit.) I booked through Wot-if and this unfortunately caused a bit of head scratching and trouble at check in and check out. Sorted though with no dramas. The fellow who checked us in though did not instill a lot of confidence by remarking more than once that we were in the "budget room" as if we had booked a dud, was far from it actually, and the price we paid through Wot-if was very good for the condition of the room. We had dinner in the restaurant and this was excellent, very good quality and reasonably priced within market rates. Overall a good experience.

After an initial glitch with bed sizes and an oversight with missing crockery, we were kindly offered an upgrade to a King Suite at no extra cost. 10 out of 10 for good old-fashioned customer service. Thank you, Highfields Motel for a comfortable stay.

Comfortable rooms and friendly management, now backed by EV charging. We have occasion to visit Highfields reasonably regularly and happily stay at this motel. But this last visit we were driving a new EV, rather than our historical petrol powered cars, so the availability of EV charging capacity was a bonus.

The Highfields Motel is a terrific place to stay in Highfields with excellent hosts and staff. Good value for money with very roomy and comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. The bonus is now the availability of electric vehicle charging at the motel which is appreciated by ev drivers.

Service, help and friendliness way beyond expectations. Comfy room, very clean, WiFi provided, lovely packet of homestyle biscuits. We had trouble with our nearly new car which changed plans: full breakfast provided with a smile on short notice.

Cheryl was excellent! Our room wasn’t ready however she assured me she’d leave bedside light on and have milk and biscuits ready for when we checked in later that night. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend

My wife and I stayed at the Highfields Motel recently, the check in was quick and easy and the room was very comfortable. Kentucky Fried Chicken is right next door and there are other shops near by and a BP service station just up the road. Would definitely stay there again.
