Hotels near Ishidoji in Higashiomi

It is just off Yakkaichi station of OMI Railway. I had a job nearby and stayed. It was good to have this hotel here. I stay at work everywhere, but no matter where I stay, I have a sense of security if it is a brand of this hotel. The room was relaxing here and dinner was also eaten in the building.

Because it was Saturday, I did not book a twin room. I booked two single rooms and designated non-smoking rooms. There are not many non-smoking rooms in this hotel, so my single non-smoking room is on the 5th floor. Building, curiosity to visit the 10th floor, there is a strong smell of smoke, fortunately, I have a designated non-smoking room, breakfast is rich, absolutely full

Staying again has prepared the keys and information for us, very intimate, if I go to Shiga again, I will choose this hotel, the only downside is the room on the side of the main road, the fresh air outlet will be squeaked by the strong wind, I hope to overhaul it, the bed for two people is slightly smaller, Service has a feeling of going home

It was one of the nicest hotels I stayed at during my recent trip to Japan. Hotel is nearby the train station and has very convenient shopping close by. First three floors of the building are commercial, hotel begins on the 4th Floor reception and higher. Rooms on the floors above require key card to activate elevator upwards so quite secure. Coffee and soft drink machines are available between 1400 and 2200. Rooms are nice. Again separate sink , toilet and shower/bath facilities. Bed was typical and they offered the convertible hard/soft pillow which I supplemented with a towel. Quiet rooms despite being the buses and trains below. Breakfast is available in the bakery below. 3 meal combinations were available though the typical Japanese breakfast needed to be ordered the day before. Huge assortment of pastries and baked goods. Definitely a plus to start the day.

We interrupted at the best time of the cherry blossoms. We stayed in the Castle View twin room on the 5 floor. Hikone Jo castle came from the window of the room, and the sky was clear without a cloud, and I spent this unbelievable bliss. Dinner was made of seafood iron plate. Color 々 arranged, fun and very delicious. Breakfast buffet was good. It was boiling hot water, but there was a large bath, so I could relax.

This Hostel has a super restaurant.It doesn’t serve pretentious food,sondern home cocking food.And it’s preiswert.It has viele Sorte von Alkohol,vino,Shochu,Bier.Oh I didn’t ask her that she has a Tequila or not.Naturlich sie hat Japanisch Sake.Ensalad muy bien.Wenn sie möchten Kaiseki Dinner or Oumi Rind Fleisch,dann müssen sie zum MARIOTT Hotel.Agua von Biwako esta limpia und Hira montana tiene muy bonito Arnolden de Arce.You can play fishing and soccer.If you a naturalist,you can get a satisfaction.Puedo vengo siguiendo las huellas del Nobunaga.If you want to eat and drink at this bar,you must write “I want to eat at this restaurant “on your booking form.Nur eine Warnung...gehen Sie nicht so oft zum Restaurant weil mein mein Essen verloren würde .うまい食い物と酒が欲しければこのレストランで食べると書いて予約してください。予約無しでは食べられないことがある。BBQという手もあるが炭を熾すのに時間かかる。カップ麺やコンビニ弁当では味気ない。私はこのバルの事は人に知らせたくわないのだが、？

When visiting Kyoto, we wanted to enjoy some time in an onsen resort so we decided to spend two nights in Ogoto Onsen. After checking the details in their website, we booked a ”Biwa no kaze”room with private onsen and view of Lake Biwako. And we were not disappointed. The room looks newly renovated, and is very spacious with two beds and sitting area plus a tatami room. They offer different dinner packages, and we have chosen crab with steak as the main dishes for the first night, and lobster with shabu-shabu the second night. The foods were of very high quality, tasted and looked very nice. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of different items. The ryokan is excellent in nearly all aspects. We would stay here again when we next visit Kyoto.

Came here with family during the Sakura season. It's easy to get to the onset hotel. After arriving at the Ogoto Onsen JR station, towards the south exit you will find a cell phone attached to a board with explanation how to use the phone to call one of the onsen hotels. After the call, their shuttle bus will then come and pick you up between 2pm to 6pm I think. The hotel staff in general are very welcoming. Our family scored a deal with their penthouse suite with private indoor and outdoor onsen. Four of us stayed in the suite and the price is only slightly more than four of us staying in 2 regular rooms. It also came with a beautiful fruit platter for you to enjoy. The suite is very spacious with 2 separate toilets. The bath area has 2 sinks, a shower stall as well as a japanese style bathing area connected to the 2 onsen baths (indoor one is a hinoki wood tub and the outdoor one is a stone one. The outdoor onsen does have a slight privacy issue as there are some residential buildings in a distance. While my mom was a bit too modest to use the outdoor one (which I am not and fully enjoyed it), she did take full advantage of the indoor private onsen. Of course the hotel also has a public onsen for the guests. In fact they have two. One in each towers. I used the one on the top floor in the morning and it was a bless seeing the sunrise while soaking in the hot onsen water. Our package also included both dinner and breakfast that were served at their private dining room. Both meals were done in kaiseki style. We were particularly impressed by their dinner. Not only was it cooked with high quality ingredients and with beautiful presentation, they did not skimp on the quantity as well. Often after eating dinner at other onsen hotel, I would not feel full and actually felt a bit hungry later at night, at Yumotokan the courses kept coming and I was completely stuffed at the end. In fact I did not finish the rice even though it was so yummy (cooked from scratch in front of us with a flamed mini-stove). All in all, a very satisfactory experience. I can recommend anyone who comes to Kyoto/Osaka and wants an excursion and experiences the traditional Japanese onsen.

The cost performance is extremely high in terms of room size, bath, cleanliness, etc. However, since it was originally supposed to be a love hotel, it was a bit embarrassing to enter and leave.

Both Japanese dinner, Viking breakfast, were very satisfied. I was also impressed by the hotel side's kindness to prepare a higher level room than the level I applied for (thank you). However, it was stressful that the number of elevators was small for the number of rooms, and it did not come easily. After that, the drainage groove of the large bath washroom was clogged, and the sewage seemed to hit the foot.
